Damn that's good.
Nice work.
If it takes you over 5 hours just to draw a character, I assume your "comic" will be like a one-time graphic novel thing...
Either way, good work :)

The comic will be black and white and this is my 2nd completed CG. Haven't done this much. Hopefully by summer i'll have improved greatly. I did this in my computer graphics class and I worked on this on and off. I really don't know how much time I actually accumulated working on this along with other projects so bear with me.

Shit...the GIF format screwed up the picture...
Anyways, he is merely holding an "orb". I admit that I enjoy the Pokemon RPG games (I hate the show...the writing...animation...characters...it sucks on so many levels) however this isn't a Pokemon doujinshi.
Then again, I plat lots of games. Gears of War, Katamari Damacy, Shin Megami Tensei, etc.

As I said, the comic will rpobably be black and white and I haven't had a lot of experience in photoshop/ This is my 2nd completed CG.

One more thing, is the planned comic going to have a serious tone? If so, consider making the eyes a bit smaller. Even for a manga style, that's kind of big.
It's going to combine humor, drama, and action. A fairly standard shounen format. I have Chapter 1 and the entire outline for the series done. Maybe once I do some fine tuning, i'll show you the script, though I don't know where to post it...
wow thats some nice hair i can draw hair that well, im impressed...keep it up and stuff like that

Yeah, I got some comments regarding the hands. I drew the actual pic like six weeks ago and recently I did the lineart and then proceeded to color it. I'm trying to improve as much as I can.

It looks pretty good but before you set out to really do a big project such as a comic you should work on your form and practise a wide WIDE range of angles and positions of the body. It will turn out to be a lot harder than you anticipate. ^_^ Good luck though!
(As a slight critique, his hands are a bit small in proportion to everything else. Thats the main reason I said work on form.)

I plan to start doing the comic around the summertime. I got Chapter 1 of the script out of the way and I wrote out the entire outline of the story already, so I don't have to worry about writer's block. Yes, I do plan to continue practicing and if necessary keep redoing pages until I get it "just right".
Yes, I know the hands are a little off. If you want to get the best quality (.PNG), go to the Deviantart link.
i realy like it. nicley colored, beautifly drawn, but it's a bit too intricate to draw a WHOLE comic around. 8 out of 10.
WHERE'S THE DIX?

I plan to make it black and white. I only plan to make it this intricate with the covers or regular artwork. Maybe with concept art too.
