Idnno dude. I mean legal action might not do anything, because outwar could say that the people spam under their own free will to do so. thus outwar can't be held responsible. even so i've seen the spamming and its just annoying. who the hell cares? screw outwar! that site sucks major ass. later.
Outwar is still spamming all over Newgrounds so I have seen. What they do now is post the link and add a few randon characters like $$ or ## and they tell people in order to click the link, just remove the two extra characters.

Yeah, the best thing we can do is if we see someone spamming Newgrounds with a site is to click 'abusive'. I've seen heaps of them in reviews and I know people have been searching for them too. In fact it seems there's a bit of a 'spammer alert squad'. So we should start small and work our way up, eliminate the users who are spamming and then work from there.
Also its unlikely outwar is going to do anything about their users because their policy is getting other people to click on their users website to get more points, and the most likely way people are going to get hits is through spamming other sites.
Regardless though, people who spam, really need to rethink their lives, I mean what do they do all day?? No need for an answer there. Enough said.

It's getting bad at other sites I vsit, too. Neopets was recently attacked by Outwars with links galore. I was the only one in my guild who accidentally clicked on the link, then i reported it immediately. Everyone's trying to figure out ways to stop this mess, but they keep getting smart! Spammers smart? EEEEE!
When newgrounds figures a way to completely stop them, I'll be the first to announce newgrounds did it and tell everyone else how to put an end to Outwars and spammers completely.

I agree with you, you should rid of them spammers. Mostly every single daily feature has one of those people advertising the website. And they didn't even watch the movie I bet. People like that I wonder what their motivation is, I look at one of those people who just advertise on Newgrounds and I think what’s the point of them being there? They make no movies, No music, got no favorite films or authors, tones of reviews written but just to advertise their site! Got to stop these leaches leaching newgrounds to be a advertising rink cause that’s not what I think NG is for.

I agree totally with Tent. They're abusing the system, using it for their own means, and not helping the artist who made the movie in any way. Lets get rid of the parasites from the system. Glad to see Wade is doing something about this. Long live Newgrounds!

Alright, spamming according to dictionary.com is: tr.v. spammed, spam·ming, spams
To send unsolicited e-mail to.
To send (a message) indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups.
Basically that's what the outwarers are doing, sending messages in reviews to people to go to their character's sites in reviews, and it has to stop! Its pretty obvious everyone either a) wants to hack the site or b) ban the spammer's ip address from Newgrounds. What happens? Only time will tell.
