Warning to spammers

Many users are still spamming Newgrounds with links to outsides sites in an effort to make their characters more powerful. We are terminating accounts left and right when we come across users doing this. We don't care of you have 0 experience, or 10,000 experience. Spam Newgrounds and you're account is gone without warning or question. I will be contacting these sites to work out an agreement that if you spam your character's link on Newgrounds.com they will terminate your character upon our request.

I have seen this, why don't you just make a url remover in the review script?

i notice that every day on newgrounds, spammers suck, and those sites are jsut stupid, really whats so great? you get to say your monster/porn guy/whatever is better than someone else's? spammers really do suck.

I doubt that outwar gives a shit. Plus if you delete accounst I think it wouldn't matter. I have seen outwar spammers who just made acccounts. I have not seen anyone higher then level 1 spamming NG with outwar crap. I never been to outwar before but is it possible of NG users to spam over their?

Trust me Wade, most will agree... outwar DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT. They like their spammers, they are keeping their spammers. They will not delete the accounts of their spammers.

True, but why not? I mean everyday some jack off comes here and either makes an account to promote outwar by wither writing it in a review or making a topic. shit if we could spam them I would make about 40 topics that just said NEWGROUNDS.COM and if the site complained to NG wade should ignore them cause outwar loves their spammers. sending them to sites that get alot of people. I mean we may gain nothing but I think it would be a good 5 second laugh

Another problem is outwar keeps coming up with new URL's. So we'll add 12 domains to our block list, and then they have another bunch of new ones. Or they will put like out+war.com and stuff. We might be able to put legal pressure on them if they don't follow through with punishing their spammers.

One of them is www.tinyurl.com (which liljim blocked as you can see)

Tiny url takes a Url and makes it different and smaller. They keep coming up with new links with names and numbers which obviously promotes spamming which is one reason i think that they will not punish spammers. If people kept using the same outwar link peeps would stop going... but if the URL changed the spam victim might think it is something else. I support any and all legal things you may do to them.

I would say that is the way to go. I mean outwar wants more people to go to their shitty site and such. to them one or two people spamming is not a big deal. wade, even if you contacted them and said to them to warn their users to stop spamming they would lie and say ok and later that day NG would once again be spammed by outwar.

oh wade, i have a new one for ya, druglords, its somewaht new in the craze but i've seen their homepage, its not to pretty they are actuallly completely based on spamming, in fact they mention right on that page "we do not condone spamming in any way" and i think when their users sign up they actualy incurage them to spam like hell, i dont think it'll get as bit as outwar before this stupid link based games fade out, but its still something to worry about. and just like everyone els, outwar wont do jack shit, their morons, i say we find a newgrounder good at hacking, and have em hack into outwar's main servers and completely destroy that damn site, it'd get rid of a bunch of other spamming sites linked to outwar too

yeah evildog has a point. ive seen quite a few ppl spaming the reviews with there urls. thats actually a great idea!!
