how do you know that you're not just dreaming or hallucinating an extremely elaborate dream (for humans anyway). In fact, how do you even know youre human, you could just be some other superior being that has dreams from a first-person perspective as a human being going through life.

For real though;

-There are thoughts, therefore there is something {internaly}

External world you can never be sure about it, the fact there's thoughts and some sense of phenomina requires there to be a something that is stilmulated by something else, we've got to presume that there's more than purely an a priori 'thing' internaly, as there's got to be a min of 2 or external/internal for any dialectical-esque thought change to occur.

So while we can't be certain the BBS excists, we can be sure there is an external world outside the head that has the 'thought' in it that I almagamate into what's Me, but we've just got to roll with the external world as it's percieved since we can't do much else if it turns out we're in the brain in a jar/tricking deamon scenario.

There's Internal thoughts ---- Our 'physical' Senses{or at least thoughts of} --- External world.

Check out Kant's Critique of Pure Reason for the most refined way of this being looked into and thrashed out, it's pretty fucking intense, there's only a single flaw in the whole thing.
