My friend and me are making a game to.
He does the programming, I am doing the art.
As multiplayer game we are going to use a rythme game, so stay tuned

Legal question, are we allowed to use songs which are like another persons song, eg cover, without vocals. Like loads of vg music covers in the audio portal.

I think it's totally lame that we can only use songs from the Audio Portal.
It actually just uninspired me from pursuing my exciting idea that I originally had.
I'd rather create my own music and ideas and be able to use them in my game. So much for originality, this totally limits the possibilities....I'm so excited to see all the awesome new rhythm games that are entered...

You're not allowed to use copyrighted songs, so make your own song, submit the audio portal and use it. Idiot.
