Ah well, i didn't win anything thing year but at least I get my very first NG Logo Shirt for free! And hopefully if i was lucky enough to be one of the top 30 responders to Bob, the almighty second prize pack!

More submissions from Pico Day should have been on the best of April vote. Although that would probably make it harder :p

Since Flashback 00 wasn't in the selection, I voted for my other favorite Pico Day flashes that were actually in the selection. I also voted on Story of Khale because I was honestly amazed by it.

And double thanks to you guys who supported our toon, or left comments with genuine suggestions on how to improve for next year. Tom is the reason why there are contests like this one, but you guys are the reason why the submissions reach such a level of quality.

(I also would have been happier if Tim had gotten 1st place :D I've watched his submission ten times and I'm still not done with it)

You need to check out Strap-on Micronic if you haven't already.

It's one of his not-as-popular ones. It's basically what somebody thinks of on acid, or when they're deep in thought.

Ahh congratulations to all the submissions this year. It definitely has to be the best Pico Day Ever...yeah there's only been two years but OH WELL. It still was kickass. I'm excited for an upcoming animation I'm planning to release with this new technique I'm going to use. It should hopefully do good. Congrats to all the winners. I haven't looked at every single movie or game, but a lot of them were great. I was going to submit my movie on Pico Day, but even though I knew about it for 2 months, it didn't get anywhere near finished.

I'll be sure to still submit it later this week, along with other animations. I might as well get started on my Clock Day and Madness Day submissions...

Was I even close! :( Oh well hopefully I get a tee shirt...

Oh yeah... well done to Uberkid's Revenge, he deserved 1st though!! His was by far the best! Well done to other winners aswell!

There was some great submissions this year. I didn't have time to vote on them, but from what I did see, I was impressed. Awesome work everyone.

If only that much money was being thrown at the Audio Portal... (I could probably upgrade from this piece of junk... lol)

1. Flashback 00
Awesome little movie, caught it late on pico day and it really had alot of obscure and finely tuned details that make ng so rich in history. Definatley sharp in presentation and its thinking.
He brought back Hanzo, whos such an overlooked character damn.

2. Picos Time Tank
Saw this coming together and it was cool to be witness to that process, an unusual combination but it worked out, i think i like that humongous monster part the best.

3. Uberkid's revenge
Had to let this one grow on me, I was at first bothered by the presentation of the characters but i think i learned to appreciate its boldness to present them in a way im not used to. I definately liked the uberkid, i always envisioned the uberkids as these fucked up robots turned evil.

I think Pico Pride was snubbed tho, that thing carried the contraversial nature of pico but without the use of violence, i found it bold and creative.

I do like that pico herpes escape snagged somethin, simple effective and creative as fuck.
nene's so fucking hot.

Pico's suprise party was awesome as well.. said it in the review but those sprites of pico are flawless.

Special high five to BoMToons for our ' I participated in pico day and all i got was a shirt!' award.

I suppose I should be upset but im not, had some terrible planning with the sketchbook tour and alot of commitments to other projects that I debated not even being part of pico day this year, im glad i got my shit together and TrueDarkness dropped everything to help me in the last two weeks.

Overall I'm pleased, I felt good taking a fatherly role in the pico day thread and seeing everyones things come together.. its almost more worth it to see those people win cause its a special pride .. like ' yeah i saw it being put together' type of pride.

I've decided the best thing to do with the cash is to buy an XBox 360 and get Alien Hominid HD! I can't wait!!! Any news on when Castle Crashers is coming out? My piece was actually quite inspired by it!

There is some fannn-tastic talent on Newgounds! Contests like PicoDay really help ease them out of the woodwork!

Congrats to everyone who got a prize! I couldnt watch much videos tho cos iof my internet but oh well i had a good time! And in the portal, the good movies i saaw definitely outweighted the bad so thats great! Anyway, I heard bout the madness comp so im entering that!
