Erm. I might have issues with the deadline...summer holidays and all...I won't say that I definately won't be able to finish, but it's a possibility.

In other news: There is this animator, great guy, goes by the name Lucky. He lives in australia, and wants to go to college and study animation. he needs to raise 40,000 USD to go to Canada to learn, so he can be where the industry is. According to his calculations, he would have to quit drawing and animating for over two years and work in order to accomplish this. And so, he's calling on everyone for a little help. Even just $1 dollar is enough. Anyways, I want to know if it is ok to donate a portion of this collab's sponsorship money to him. I have already told him I will give him my share and Sonx's share of Brushed*2 money, which comes out to 90 dollars. Now, obviously this isn't enough. If could give him the rest of the sponsorship money for brushed*2 and a portion of Brushed*3, he will be that much closer to achieving his dream. I won't say I will yet, I want to get a general consensus on what percentage to donate. I am also going to see if he will make a part.

Everyone's got to pay for everything nowadays: just look at university costs. He should get a loan like everyone else and then pay it back once he's successful. I think you'd be better of donating your money to a charity if you want the 'feel-good' which charitable donations induce.

Sonx: I won't be able to start working on my part proper until my exams are over. Once the exams are over, I'll be able to buy a tablet. I know one can be an awesome animator with a mouse, but I need the tablet to stop all my mouse-woes. It just doesn't listen to me anymore. Either way, I'll do my best to get my part finished by the start of august.

I know that guy, Luckydesign eh? he's alright. but still, you don't need to quit for two years to get a job or find some scholarships, or even get a loan like british moose said. Not that I'm in this for the money, but if lucky seriously knows what he wants to do in life; he can find a way to do it other than relying on the kindness of strangers and such. I mean, couldn't he freelance at his current skill level? making animations by commission? if you average a 1000$ logo design or something, you end up with about 40 jobs for paying your tuition.

This is a very rough sketch of my part, because its messy you might not know what going on. But when I get to the neat version It will be clear. Whats happening is these two people are fighting over a ball.

By the looks of it Brushed*3 is gonna turn out much better than 1 or 2, I just pray people can persevere through laziness and finish. and tyokio s awesome :].

Hey guys, I'm working on my part, and just so you guys know
I did say on the site, that I'm gonna me putting my pay aswell, I do freelance jobs however there IS rent and such.Also there's no such thing as international loan, I checked with the NZ goverment's loans and all of the banks and none of them let you take the loan out, and spend it overseas. I talked to the school, which also said there's no benefits for international students, so believe me I've tried those routs. However I do atract more people with cartoons according to my stats so I'm in hehe :)

Glad to hear you've started, I hope that you get the chance to find an opportunity for yourself in the animation world. I recommend www.animationmentor.com if you've a high-school degree :]. you can earn a 4(maybe 2) year degree there in 2d or 3d and you've experience with both.

I just hit 10.0 seconds btw. I'll have a preview ready at 15.5 seconds)

Ok so my part is colored in about 13 seconds that leaves 13 to color and 19 seconds to add
I'll show you a preview later maybe at thirty seconds.
At this rate my part will be done in a week or so.

There's no preloader so you might want to wait a little before right click > play. It should turn out a lot nicer than my last part, which put the 'rushed' in 'Brushed'.
