Here's my shield rate it from 1-10.
1 being total shit 10 being epic masterpiece.

Nothing special. Although the shading is okay...other than that its just an easy-to-make pattern.

Shading is okay; although not blended enough.

I know it is a comma, not a semicolon, that should go there.

Also, it looks completely flat, which would be horrible for a shield.

It isn't centered; just crop the damn thing.

it`s a scribbled shield, not straight neither does it have a good design.

simple pattern and the shading is too easy, i mean, a goddam flat piece of metal...if you got that wrong you might as well have killed yourself.

The design is too simple. There should be an insignia or something to add some detail. Also, it is way out of shape. You need to center it, and made the shape definite. That point at the end is not very protective, and it does look flat.

Add some small details too. Such as the trimmiing; it should have nuts and bolts attaching it to the shield. Also put shading from the trimming to the shield to show that it does have a sense of 3D.

If you make another shield, take these notes into account.

I know you drew it with a pencil but its not very semetrical and its very plain. Perhaps if there was an emblem in the center like a lion
or even an object like a spade (cards no shovel/spade)

All in all very basic.

I´d give it a 4/10. Like people say, it´s not straight...it´s bigger on one side than the other....i also think the corners are a bit too sharp. Also, the design. for me was a bit simple and boring maybe....try something with a bit more detail and i think you´ll get better results.

Oh, i knocked up a quick shield using flash in 5 minutes. It´s not great, but with a mouse it´s not as easy as using pencil, but i don´t have a scanner, so hey. Anyway...i call it the moonshield..what do ya guys think?

Your newer version is an improvement, but not by much. I'm not really sure, but the trimming shouldn't look like tin foil. Keep it up, and do work on the major things like shape, lighting and shading. I give the shield version 1.2 a 4/10.

As for the moon shield, you did that in paint? Or photoshop? Because it looks ok, but really do center the point with the middle. I notice this right of the bat. But it does look good. 6/10 for you.

No, i used flash, and it´s not bent, if you look at it carefully, it´s because i drew it at an angle, hence the curved top. Know what i mean?

4/10, it needs to be slimmer and look more jagged and metal/hard look to it. maybe add a few rivets, dents, scratches etc.
