Guitar Hero 2 Tournament

This thread officially starts the tournament. Registration is closed. The following members will be competing in the tournament:

The tournament will end May 5th, and I will announce the winner in this thread. If you are unaware of what this is, here is a link to the registration thread.

In the future I hope to host more video game tournaments. I was thinking the next tournament I would do would be for Forza 2 once it's released. Next time around I should be offering much better prizes as well.

aha... I still can't play songs on Extreme. I still suck at the game a bit. I can manage hard, but not that well.

This is pretty cool. I know bar in NY where you can play guitar hero for free and you can sign up for tournaments there. However I have yet to save up the amount of money to get for the PS2 (Don't own a 360). plus i am also battling over what to buy. Pokemon or Guitar Hero? Oh well good luck to all contestants i hope this turns out to be a great tournament.

It's the only way to play games online. Anymore it's not even worth owning a console if you don't plan to play online.

Well, with silver you can play online, but only on weekends.

I'm pretty sure it can be played in quick play as well but I'm also competing against you so don't take my word on that.

Also I have a sizable lead on most of the songs already. >:]

Jordan is the only song I cannot beat. I have all but 7 songs five starred on expert, and I still can't beat Jordan.

Quick play counts, I learned that the hard way.
I played Hanger 18 at a friend's house on quick play and got a pimp score, now he is ahead of me on the leaderboard because I haven't been able to get a better score. :(

I was just playing this with my friend earlier after seeing this. Here's how I did.

Monkey Wrench - 92%
Carry on Wayward Son - 96%
Woman - 91%
Free Bird - 88%
Jordan - 93%

Playing on PS2 all songs on expert. Wish I coulda got in on this tourny lol. I don't even own the game, I play it occasionally at my friends house. I prefer playing my real guitar though :)
