That looks like... photoshop grass!!! Burn heretic!

Nice swords, though I get the impression that they're both about to fall over. They'd look better lying flat on the ground I think.

Totally agree with I-Jaf, boobs sell games, and they sold more games when 3D was a new thing even if you had to guess if that polygonal cubelike thing was a boob or a head, hell if they has a bikiny salesgirl on each store I'm sure they'll triple theyr sales.

And btw nudity in art has nothing to do with porn, I take drawing and anatomy classes at college, and we have naked models, it's fundamental if you want to get the correct proportions and muscle groups, it's in no way compared to trying to learn from a book or ref pics.
So you know kids, go spy on your nude neighbors and improve your drawing skills!!

Now that you say so they actually look like they're falling but I'm not fixing that again hahaha I don't really like it anyways.

lol too true, i do actually agree with you lot that boobs sell games, but hell you don't have to put a bikini clad supermodel in a game just so that it sells... i mean come on if thats all thats sellign the game then obviously it needs a rethink... like GAMEPLAY and... STORYLINES... take morrowind for instance (i haven't played oblivion yet) you could strip anybody down to their underclothes (although the bodies were so ugly that you usually gasped and clicked on dispose of corse afterward) but the selling point in the game was a great storyline and addictive gameplay.
also those swords r pretty good, well done. try doing a curved artefact sword, you know those cool wavy blades and runes etc etc.

Yeah I agree, it's not the ONLY thing that sells games (I myself am a huge vg player) but it sells anyways, AND there are some great games with hot chicks as stars, for example, Tomb Rider, and... well you get the picture.

Btw thx for the comment on my swords, I'll try to make something else as soon as I find some free time!!

Not exactly 3d, mostly 2d. I can't do 3D.

So it's not 3D in any way and yet you still post it in a thread specificly for 3D?

lol! wat the heck? funnny picture but as previously stated this is a 3D art thread... nevertheless it does add humour, has anybody got anything so outragiously wierd its funny coz id definitely like to see that here.
btw the next picture was rendered on a 4600 + processor with 256 mbs of graphics card and 1 gb ram and it still took about 24 hrs, its a variation on the previous one i posted.

Looks great, but I take it the full size render is waaaay bigger than what you posted if it took that long to render.

Finally! My Second 3D rendering ever made with blender. I completed it in 2 or 3 days. Its suppose to be a room. I notice that blender doesn't have the the same lighting effect as in real life, its so difficult to work with.

nice i like the house its pretty good
and arlowist, use spotlights they are better for that sort of thing, you get volumetric shadows and that sort of thing which you don't get with normal lamps.

its not bad for animation, although you could make the movements of the puppet faster and more human like, also make the movements more like what you would do.

Rendering = LW9
Animation = RF4 trial version

RF4 was probably overkill, but there were too many particles to run it on LW's hardbody sim.

You find some blender tutorials, then you teach yourself to model.
