Thanks guys. Really happy that you guys liked it. :)

Anyway I've been doing something real this time, and this one took about 3 hours or so. Hope you guys like this one too, any criticism is welcome. :D

And by the way the only tools I used in this was Sphere 3D and Plane 3D tools. :D

There are amazing 3D artists here and I respect them all. You guys have done some amazing stuff. :D

Heh, I started this thread nearly two years ago, it'd be rather strange if it died now.

Nice cartoon by the way.

It looks great how do u put the blood or the red liquid??? And if u want some render to look more realistic, export the object as an .obj model to 3ds max, and look for a Mental Ray tutorial for realism, also try to paint the apples with a more yellowish color and make the vase imperfect, use the standard brush with the color alpha to color it, just a little bit, make the zRGB lower and use a medium size of brush, it is going out really great

Krayon I'm glad you made this thread. And by the way I love the Meta Knight you did! :D

AlexisGOAR, thanks for the hints, I will surely try those ways. And about the blood, well it's just painted with a dark red color with a little zADD, I should have subdivided the vase a bit more to make the blood look better. :D

the breast plat, or scarf, or what ever it is seems to have it's faces showing. shouldn't it be smoothed or is the flat parts intentional?

I've seen that compass somewhere before, I think it was in a tutorial, did you make that tutorial or follow a tutorial. Cause I'm sure I have seen it somewhere before, or at least a similar one

I got the model from Turbosquid.com. There's some pretty sweet objects there, and a lot of good free ones.

you should have mentioned that, some could call that on a knifes edge of stealing.

I have accounts with the-blueprints.com, the3dstudio.com, turbosquid.com, and a couple others.

Hey, been pretty busy since my last post - thought I'd drop an update shot of that woman (just recently got around to texturing her) I should be able to send a link to a short animated piece that i've been working on in the past couple of weeks soon. So heads up for that, if anyone's interested :)

Hey, cool stuff Zandoid. Every time I see you post, you've improved. Good stuff.

To those wondering about a good free program. The best out there is Blender.

http://www.blender.org/

Go get it today and download a couple tutorials. I suggest googling for the Noob to pro stuff, or the Summer of Documentation stuff.
Of course, they've been going through a slate of updates these last few months that are incredible. The already solid program is getting a near complete overhaul and a lot of new stuff is getting added. It's a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of things it's really very intuitive.
