Just to see what the artistic people can do, take one of my characters and redraw them in any way, style, or position you want.
-Here be a catch. I don't want MY pictures taken, and then something random done in Photoshop or MS Paint.
If there is a restriction on this, please inform me moderators or people and I will stop this immediately. This is just a test of skill from the people.

*Update on a picture. An abstract warlike picture will be coming to you soon. How soon, that will be decided on my mood. But I guarentee it will make you go, "hm..." Stay tuned.

Okay, I can see that this didn't pick up... so DO NOT DO WHAT THE PREVIOUS POST SAYS! IN MATTER OF FACT IGNORE IT!
Anyway. This week will hopefully bring you a so-far excellent picture with the smallest of details (I hope). It is kind of abstract and I hope you will understand it. Um... Yeah.
It's about 78% done, and the rest is foliage and shading of that same foliage. Stay tuned! And i might bring some sketches (low quality, I can't draw high quality stuff all the time) to this thread. Yay.

Interest grabber!
Now that I have your interest... oh crap... I forgot what i was going to type.

It will take me a while to finish, as in possibly Friday. That 78% is a lot done, and 22% left is still a lot. I just have to do foliage in the background, shading of that foliage, shading of the models in the background with it, see if i can put more in the dropship, and work on the air battle in the background over the Hectic military facility. It is a lot to do, so yeah. But believe me, you will be impressed, and awed. So the wait can be well worth it.
*NOTICE!* I draw during classes at school because the light is phenomenal, and it keeps me awake. So I won't draw at home unless I am bored. Don't ask why, and if you do, i will smirk and tell you an answer anyway.
Now go stroke a kitten.

Interest Grabber!
Now that you are interested... eh... crap... I forgot... I'll post it later.

This I drew in Stagecraft class because it is boring now.
Going Clockwise: Rapid Crab going Grahamenur. Jellyfish not in water. Octipus going meh...
Scott the Goth (not detailed), and Disturbed Squid!

Enjoy, and licking rats on a stick is not acceptable at all.

Ok... anybody who is interested, the true picture that anybody who cares is coming along quite well and should be on NG tomorrow night. It is currently 92% complete and the rest will be finished during school. The sketch above is just me being bored.

Phew... I am so glad I finished this today... Oh man, what a bitch it was.
Anyway, This is a first person picture of a battle occuring in a series I like to call G Factor. It pretty much consists of 4 main factions: Calibur, Generic, Army, and Hectic. These factions have different goals on what to do with a substance called G Factor.
G Factor is a substance that can be found in all four states of matter. Plasma is used for weaponry, Gas is produced as flammable exhaust, giving anything using it as fuel an extra burst of speed, Liquid G Factor is the actual fuel that is used to power a generator in ships, jet packs, anything that uses it for mobile transportation, and the Solid form is used as shielding.

The reason the characters have no limbs and are just floating about is when I created this, ah... five years ago? I just liked the way it gave me the freedom to screw around with the appendages. And it still does. And before you say, "OMFG he stole that idea from Ubisoft's Rayman!" I didn't. I didn't even know who or what Rayman was. If looks like a cheesy cartoony but not Halo, eh... maybe. But Halo was not my center of attention here. Hm... What else could you flak me for? Eh well.

So here is the picture. A first person perspective of the battle, showing two Hectic soldiers in front, a Generic sniper off to the left, and Generic soliders moving up to that small castle in the background. They also be engaging Hectic forces. The air battle in the background is over a Hectic fortress that is suspected of researching ways of creating "The Ultimate Form of G Factor." The building is shielded, so that's why it isn't crumbling to bits by the bomb.
Enjoy!
Oh and there are trees in this, so expect to see this picture in PincushionQueen's tREEs thread.

WOOHOO! No hotsauce for me!
Anyway. The ship is my biggest dissappoint for me on this one. I couldn't do enough with it, sadly. The most I could have done is with the grass and shading, and that's it. I wish I could've had more options after I drew it, but that's the side effect of drawing in pen.

By all means, keep posting. It really makes my nights better, considering I only from 7:00-9:00 in Arizona time.

Well, if you don't like it you can remove it with photoshop, print it and draw another ship...

Once again, I will announce clearly.
I do not enjoy drawing on white paper. I cannot position things as accurately as I can with lined paper. I only draw on white paper when I am drawing comics, because I don't have all that room for me to take up. Since these pictures are so graphical (except for that freaking dropship! ARGH! I hate it so.), I can't allow myself to bring things out of proportion. If you look at a majority of the other threads, people complain about proportions, centering things, and all that graphical stuff. So... that's why I do not use clear paper.
I love my grass too. Also try paying attention to the reflections on anything that has them. (Except for the dropship. I screwed up when it was supposed to curve at the top.)

So... I ask of all of you now, what should I draw based on the drawings you've seen thus far?

A first person drawing from an sniper on a hill(mountain), with a special techno optic and an army where he is looking at ?

Or a space battle ? (with ships and stuff)

Well, I dont know too much about stuff like this, but when I was in family and consumer science class, we used these purple markers to outline what we were sewing or cutting out on the fabric, and the next day it would be completely gone. Some kind of chemical reaction to air I think...

getting to the point now

You could try to look for something similar to those markers, only for paper. It would just involve a bit more work, since you would have to make the lines. This would both get rid of the line issue AND you would be able to draw in proportion. I guess the only downside to something like that is if you were to work on a particular piece over a day :P

Oh, and as a comment on "G Factor," other than the ship, it looks pretty good. I think that things are spaced out a bit oddly though. Either each person should be further apart, or closer together... for some reason or another it just seems kinda awkward. Eh, that's just me though

Ah... It feels good to be home after a nice day at school. Which I hate so much!
Anyway, why am I posting? A picture of Allison is why. I drew her with the maximum amount of armor she wears in the story (isn't it a lot?). I did use a new technique for the hair (thanks Tem, if this is what you meant) and I hope you like it.
Oh, and I know for the hair it looks like it has two lighting areas for it, but it looked so lucious that I didn't want to fuck with it.

Shit... Does nobody care about my art? Or what?
eh... whatever, I'll keep those fans whom are loyal to me updated with many papery goodness. I will think about drawing on white paper for my next picture. Notice I said thinking, which means I probably won't. Anyhow, It is the picture that counts.

Whistling... more whistles.
Oh yeah, hehe. Photoshop time.
[NOTICE] This is PHOTOSHOP! Not pen. So... yeah.
If I was to make a flash game, I would consider this as fun. Really. If you played the real version of this "Move your tile to eliminate the other people's tile", it would be fun, and frustrating. (Just imagine how many times I screwed myself over. I have no social life, so yeah. Freaking parents.) So yeah.

Somebody post something, or else my pizza won't turn out well.

You need to relax, the art forum is slooooow, and people aren't exactly crawling all over each other to post more than once in a single persons art thread. I think your drawings are pretty cool, rather different than what other people are doing around here, kudos.

It looks great! And the hair is much better ^_^ Once I finish my pannel for the sketchbook tour (yes I know... it's due to Luis by Friday.... I'm so close to finishing though! Two birds, a banner, hair, some twigs, and a moon... which kinda seems like a lot but they are all small... and why am I even bothering to explain? lol, you'll just have to wait and see) then I'll make you a fanart, in pen too :D

Oh, btw, do you have a DA account that you upload these to, or just here?

I only have an NG account. There's something about me and people that makes me cringe. It's called agoraphobia I think? Anyway, deviantArt has a bunch of people, and like MySpace, I refuse to go on it. But... Due to the fact that DV is an art site, I may consider it. Oh, and also, deviantArt has cookies and shit on it, and frankly, I don't need my computer all screwed up and my mom chewing my ass about it. So, I do consider a devianArt account, but I don't like the idea.
Oh, Tem, you seem like you know a lot about art. If you can consult me more about what needs to be done, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for the comment Spectre. It's great to know that I am amongst other people who can draw in pen.
Also, soon, I will create a personal Photoshop thread, where I will post Photoshop pics. Stay Tuned for that.

Today, I made two fairies (gave one to a chick, and I don't like the other one.), a little cartoon of one of my female friends turning into a jellyfish (she wanted me to draw that) and a cute little elephant. You have to see the elephant. But basically, I'm a bit done drawing stuff for now. Oh, and I have concept art for a character in _The Covenant of War_. I'm a bit lazy to scan it, so... yeah.
Stay Tuned

Hello again peoples. You know what happens to be great. Well, pretty much living. The life you may not be all so great, but being alive is all that counts, eh?
Anyway, I'm tired of drawing for now. It's just so damn detailed, and the kind of detail takes time. So, I declare that I will be on vacation of drawing for a bit. Probably just this week, or until next week, so don't expect very good pictures on here. Just silly and spontaneous pictures. But later on tonight, I will post a picture that, if I check the rules, I can have a normal contest with no rewards. (I know, I blow.) So, yeah.
The photoshop thread will be coming soon, and I hope all of my new fans (I think that's what I call you guys? Never had any fans) will check it out. The main focus at the moment is a side-scrolling view of G-Factor. Yay.

So, squids are great for hugging and giving toast to, not eating. Don't eat the squids.

Christ, stop whoring yourself out with a bunch of long, dramatic posts.

Patience is the key, my friend. It makes you seem a little less like an egocentric douche if you only post in your own thread when you have artwork ready for display.

Just kind of one of those forum etiquette things.

Your pen work is pretty fair, but it would be better if it weren't on lined paper. The lines distract the focal point of the piece and fuck up the balance. Also, that type of paper is more absorbent than white computer paper. If you're using a thin sharpie on that type of lined paper, it's bound to bleed. Ball points aren't as effective for pen work, I find.

Sure, I'd love to be a help! I love art, whether I'm the one doing it, or helping someone else, or watching someone else, or just looking at it... art is my happy place :D

Oh, and sorry I havent gotten anything for you yet... my arm has been bugging me the past few days so I havent really gotten anything accomplished that wont make a person's eyes go blind, bleed, or explode and in rare cases, turn into pink elephants.

Oh, and I had a great idea for you (unless of course you already have one.. then this is pretty pointless..) but you should make a website and host all of your art on it! It'd be your own gallery of art, not a community like DA or sheezy art, but you could set it up similar. You could add in comment boxes and everything, it'd be a lot of fun to do and then you could see all of your work in one place
