Much like the Clock Crew, the Star Syndicate has a very complicated past. Some of the founding members were extreme troublemakers, hellbent on spamming Newgrounds and abusing the system. Their founder, SevenStar, was made a martyr when his account was deleted. It must be noted that he wasn't deleted for submitting crappy movies, but for sharing child porn. He's lucky if he's not in jail right now.

Over time, specific members have turned out to be the "shining stars" of the Star Syndicate. Because of these redeeming members (including those who make fun of us regularly), the Star Syndicate has finally earned this official spot on NG.

Oh, and in my opinion. SS>LL>CC. The clock crew tried to imitate the SS very badly lately with a lot of crappy and not funny submissions. The LL doesn't do that.
