You're delusional. The British were losing in every single theatre until the US came in. The ONLY place where the British did more was Africa. British and American participatin in the Med and Italy was equal, but the US did VASTLY more in Operation Overlord and henceforth in all operations in Western Europe.

Your also forgeting the ATLANTIC (where the axis lost the majority of ships) and SE asia where Britain did more.

Your Even wrong in Operation Overlord. Commonwealth and America contribuated equal amounts of troops and aircraft but the Commonwealth again contribuate much more on the Naval side. As for the Operation itself, The Commonwealth actually did alot more anyway. The large majority of the Axis forces were focoused on the Second army (Britain and Canada), allowing the First army (US) to breakout into france.

So if anything Britain did more in the battle of Normandy, howether after the Breakout the US 3rd army did enter France and America then did more in western europe I agree.

Then, the ONLY time after that the British were allowed to command an operation (Operation Market Garden) it FAILED horribly. Then British were under US supreme command from then forward, and had less troops, and contributed less than the US did.

It didn't even fail horribly, it just failed, 5 out of 6 bridges i think were taken but that wasnt enough, it was such a risky operation and was backed completly by Esienhower.

The US didn't win the whole war by itself, but it was the largest single contributing factor to allied victory. had the US not participated, the axis would have won. The US was fighting two large scale wars in the Pacific and Europe at the same time. The Brits, Russians, Canadians, free French, etc.. they only fought to a similar scale in Europe at that time, while the US was doing about half of the work then as well.

Ang about, The russians were fighting one war in europe, true. One war that inflicted more casulties on the Axis than the Commonwealth and US combined.lol
As for The commonwealth, They were the main forces in Africa,Med, Atlantic, SE Asia and Middle east. And Equal amount in Western europe as well as the Aussies playin an important role in various campaigns of the Pacific war.

I also would like to clear up another of your pathetic ignorant views. Yes the allies were doing shit at first, and It took a few years of loosing to sort them selves out. When America joined the war they were at the same level as Britain, they had learnt from Britains mistakes (in WW1 America joined the war and were hopless, making the same blunders Britain and france had done at the start) But in WW2 America had learnt to watch from the sideline, taking in whats going on. YEs at the start America did fuck up in Africa and Pacific, but they were soon on there feet, And this was due to 3 years of British and allied casulties.

So its hardly fair to say that Britain were doing shit until America joined, because when they did join they were at the same stage as Britain.

A good example of this is Britain learning that Aircraft carriers were the most valuable ship instead of the Battleship which had in the past been the backbone of a Navy. So America thanks to this had two years in advance to start building Aircraft carriers instead of battleships.
(unfortunatly Japan also learnt from a succesfull british naval battle and used the tactic on Pearl harbour)

Basically what I'm saying is if America had joined the war when Britain did there is no doubt they would of made the same mistakes (because they did there first few campaigns)
