Disney sucks these days!

WARNING: RANT BELOW!

Right, that's it. I've had it. That's the last straw. I'm angry at Disney. Well, more Disney Channel. For those that dont know, Disney Channel is a channel on cable tv. K? K. Remeber Mickey Mouse? Remeber Donald Duck? Remeber Goofy? Yeah, well now we've got Hannah Montana, Cory in the house, and various other pieces of crap.

Let's start with Cory in the house. By far, the worst show on Disney at the moment. Starring Kyle Massey as Corey Baxter, it's about a boy who's dad gets a job as the President's personal chef, so they move to Washington where Corey has to make new friends, etc. Basically, he gets into some sort of pathetic situation in every episode. It's just so predictable.

Then there's Hannah Montana. Not as bad as the above, but still, not the best. Starring Miley Cyrus, as Miley Stewart. The show follows the antics of an everyday girl called Miley, who struggles to fit in at school. But little do her classmates know, she's also world famous pop singer Hannah Montana! The show is filled with ridiculous puns, most around her dad, who, if you haven't guessed yet, is Billy Ray Cyrus, her dad in real life. Jokes like 'Ouch! My achy, breaky back!' Are not funny, and make the show boring.

And now to the cartoons. Kim Possible, a show about a crime fighting teen who 'Can do anything.' In every episode she has to deal with some sort of evil scheme thought up by any of her limited foes - Dr Drakken, Senor Senior Senior and Senor Senior Junior, Duff Killigan, or Dr Dementor. It's always one of them, and she always manages to save the day. 'Will Kim make it out of this one? Find out after the break!' Oh, she does. Big surprise.

There are plenty more disgraces to kids shows like these, but I wont go naming all of them, coz I'd be here for hours. What happened to the good ol' shows?

No, it's not like I'm so weirdo freak that always watches kiddie shows, I was flicking through the channels today and thought I might watch some Disney for a change. And I didn't like what I saw!

Disney is no longer about cute animalistic characters that have humorous musical episodes that give a warmth to your heart, its about annoying teenagers (or, pre pubescent teenagers) that are spoiled or bitching to the max about their generic overly-"we've fucking seen it before and don't give a shit" lives that ultimately allows the sick marketing corporations to feed on the ignorance of the generation of today.

In terms of their TV shows, I don't watch them any more.

In terms of their movies, the last decent film they made was The Emperor's New Groove. Since then, they've ranged from average to mediocre. And I preferred their hand-drawn animation style compared to the 3D stuff they're doing now.

They had a movie about jump rope on it recently, my sister was watching it (and she's 15 *sad*) and I just couldn't understand what was so freaking entertaining about it. And all their sitcoms suck and reuse the same jokes over and over.

I really never stayed on the Disney Channel for more then 6 seconds, then I have to turn the channel.. I agree that they are all retarded shows, but I must say, I really don’t care for the old school stuff like Mickey Mouse either…

You're making it sound like Disney went from Heaven to Hell. Face it, Disney sucked from the begining. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck were shitty. Instead of puns they had Goofy getting hurt. Sure Disney did go down a little in the tv area, but like I said, it wasn't to good to begin with.

P.S. If Goofy is a dog, and Pluto is a dog, how come Pluto can't talk but Goffy can?
