It's really hard to tell if this guy has good intentions or not. He says the typical shit about being friends with all colors, and then goes insane about black culture and how they don't respect whites. And then at the end he totally contradicts himself and says some shit about, "Maybe today is a white day, and the blacks won't understand."

Who gives a fuck about white pride. And who gives a shit about black pride. Having pride for your color is fucking worthless anyways. It seems better to have pride for your heritage or country, but even that is still a little pointless. I have Irish and Scottish ancestory, and while I do enjoy my background, I don't really give a shit THAT much. I don't walk around spouting Irish pride and have hate for the English. So, like I'm saying, why have pride for shit you can't even control.

Walking around and telling everyone that you're proud to be Mexican isn't going to make anyone give a shit about your culture. Have pride in your career and choices you make in life, not your color, sexual preferances, background, and whether or not you're male or female.

No one is stopping you from being proud. I do think it is more important for you to consider why you are proud of it. What's it really doing for you? How did you contribute to it?

Pride: a feeling of self-respect and personal worth.

If you are white, you can obviously have a feeling of self-respect and personal worth. But the real point is, couldn't you feel it if you weren't white. Is being white the only thing you have going for you? What about being white is so special that it actually makes your life worth living?

I know this is risky to say, but I've thought it for a long time. Having pride in anything like race, makes you a racist. Having pride in your culture, makes you a bigot. In a way, you are saying, I couldn't possibly be worth anything if I weren't white, black... whatever. And I can't believe that.

Totally fucking wrong. The music in black culture is wrong? Do you not realize that the rock music you listen to was basically revolutionized by jazz music. Elvis Presley was known as a person that white people could enjoy, since the majority didn't really get into jazz.

What the hell are you talking about? Of course I support freedom of speech, but using free speech as a shield to say what you want doesn't make you any less of an idiot for saying it. I make racist jokes all the time, because I like having the ability to say what I feel like, but that doesn't mean I think it should be OK for me to go up to a black guy and say, "Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that you are a n*gger and I'm better than you."

You'll have to excuse me for going slightly off topic, but I've wanted to comment on something like this for a while. Basicly what you are saying is that we should have tolerance, which I agree with. Unfortunately, tolerance will always be a balancing act, for a couple reasons.

First of all, you can't tolerate everyone. It's impossible because some people push your buttons and some people don't have respect for society. Ie, criminals. You can't tolerate that kind of person.

Second, as we are all humans we all divide up our world into parts. It's how we understand things, and the method will probably never change. So, when you have visual differences you notice them on some level.

The third thing ties the first two together, unfortunately. Because we can't tolerate everyone, and we look for how things can be divided. We divide our own society in our minds into the "good" and the "bad." This simple action is the reason we have any problems at all as far as race. Some people will always make the innacurate decision that people different than themselves are the problem, which brings up another point of how we all believe we ourselves are right instead of listening to others.

So tolerance is a balancing act. We either all have to endure some sort of ideology which isn't perfect and will subjegate someone, or we have to do our best to try to understand what is around us and listen to everyone, while making informed decisions.

As difficult as it is, I'd still choose tolerance. It is because of this that I have no room for pride. For if I believed as was as perfect as I could be, I would never be able to change who I was and be better.

i think its because people are afraid to upset black people so the white will persacute the other white people so the relationship between blacks and whites isnt completly fucked up yet when black people do it we are ment to take it on the chin and laugh about it its a fucking disgrace really we really should get someone to get these points across but no-one will cause they will be branded racist

I wouldn't say a lot, but I do agree with you. The problem is, you see most of it through the media and that's what makes it seem like there are a lot of black people with double standards. The media has always had a way of taking what a small amount of people are saying and implying that the whole group of people think the same way. You see some racist KKK members on the news, they talk about marching in some town, and you start thinking all white people are crazy racists. You see some black person talking about the new unit of Black Panthers that has started, and you think all blacks support them.

Okay Call it a debate. However implying some of the things that have been said here are intelligent is idiotic. Racial stereotypes are not intelligent. I just can't get my head around it.
