Hmm dude you need help badly", to which Weise replied, "Lol, you obviously can't tell the difference between Fantasy and reality. This cartoon was made for nothing more than Random violence, and believe it or not theres an audience out there that this appeals to. So don't try judging my Mental health based upon a simple animation, capisce?" We all know what happened soon after that...
Interesting point.
But even if Jeff Weise's flash was a clear warning sign, I don't think the same is true for Cho Seung-hui's plays. Neither of them say anything about shooting up a school... they both seem to be about how much the author hates perverts and pedophiles. In fact, I wouldn't say that either of the plays are "disturbing" at all. They're just unrealistic and weak, with lots of emotion and no real message, like they're just an excuse for Cho Seung-hui to use a lot of profanity. Besides, no matter what the hell he wrote, even if it was entirely normal, people would still find something negative and call it a "warning sign" because they want to believe that they could have prevented the tragedy by paying more attention. Sometimes, you can't.
If I were to go on a killing rampage tomorrow, people would look at my writing and say, "oh, we should have known, that kid was messed up in the head." And I know that some of my writing is disturbing. I know that if my school's guidance counselors saw it, they'd have a nice, long talk with me. But right now, it's just fiction. I can write things that are far more violent and disturbing than anything in Cho Seung-hui's lame-ass plays, but that doesn't mean I should be locked up or medicated for having an imagination.
Even if there are warning signs, there's not much you can do. And in Cho Seung-hui's case, there were no serious warning signs to begin with. It only seems that way, now that we look back on it.

YOU ARE THE WORST INVESTIGATOR EVER.
You should never be put in charge of doing anything that affects anyone in any way, ever.
