I wondered that as well. I just thought it was a spelling error at first (since people had been spelling cereal wrong left and right during the contest), but the more I thought about it the more I wondered.

While I'm at it, I'd also like to add that I was surprised by Victory Cereal and Rambo's in the runners up category. Victory Cereal I thought would go over most people's heads and Rambo's was one of those early in the contest that no one discussed and mostly overlooked (I also thought Pedo's was the dominant entry of that page).

Seriously though, my only problem with it is that the image seemed off-center, which threw off the balance of the design. The art and idea were great.

but i don't truly agree with the rest of the winners, looks like there was no real competition since newgrounds had a friendship mafia for contests, but, whatever take it or not , it's just an opinion of another dumb of newgrounds portal hehe.

i gotta say it again, if I was judging on pure creativity and comedy the top ten would be totally different...its so fucking hard when you see a really well drawn box that somebody put ALOT of time into and we did say this was an ART/design contest..then not award them anything.

I think we're going to revise the rules alittle to let some more of the comedic/orignal ones in, even if they aren't as polished. the next contest is gonna rely pretty heavily on that I think. hell im stressed because I don't even have an idea yet and I said we would be launching the next one by tonight. lol i better get crackin

I was a bit lazy with the design aspect of my entries.
The sad thing is, I'm a graphic designer.

For something like this i would normally spend a few days working on,
But I did have other stuff to work on as well.

I was praying to at least get into the t-shirt section, I still don't know what was overly wrong with mine, though it wasnt polished off I guess which is bad, I only had 3 days and rather than do one good one I did 3 ok ones lol, should teach me to stop being so impatient !

the contest was primarly based on design. theres no way in hell I could walk down a cereal isle and mistaken yours for an actual box,. shits all smudgey and wack, and you used some kinda of shitty font on the bottom. the artwork itself isnt polished and looks like it was completed in pencil.

on top of that, it wasnt even funny...

I am a little upset that the Cannuck's one didn't make it. Next the Beaver one (fucking hillarious BTW) it was my favorite. That is just one man's opinion however.
