I'm making a site with someone and we are arguing about the layout. I think that the boxes in the center don't belong. Here What do you think?

what zoidburg has failed to mention is that I have done everything that you can see hosted on that website without his help. He is supposed to be the PHP programmer despite the fact that he has done nothing and wastes all of his time bitching constantly about my layout without offering any solutions

Like these boxes in the center, with the top 5 images for today. All he said to me is "they don't belong", he has offered no alternative to these boxes.

Lies, I have already done ten times the work that he has done, the php scripts haven't been uploaded yet because the layout is taking too long. And once he finishes the layout I have to redo it because he refuses to learn css.

well we basically got the site for free. But it's under my name and credit card.

I paid for the domain and it's under my account. He used his credit card and it's registered to his name. The hosting is under my name.

The whole thing, especially the boxes, are extremely distracting. I would make them solid or add some sort of contrast, like grey instead of using white. The layout is also too wide for an 800 px wide screen res by about 30 px too wide.

I think everything below this image (http://thewebernets.com/frontpage.jpg) looks like it needs redoing, but everything above it looks pretty damn good.

Whoa! How can you pay for the domain if he used his credit card? Anyway, you're both partners and co-own the whole site together as far as I'm concerned. So quit your bitching and get it done. This feud shouldn't have been posted here in the first place. If you guys can't work together, then he can get his own hosting and you can buy your own domain and make your own layouts and whatever else and cut the partnership. It's not worth it.
