This was not just the biggest school massacre in US History, it was the biggest massacre, period, in history. There was a bomb that killed more people, but come on, of course a bomb will give more. This man killed 32 people, and wounded, what, 21? That's 53 people that this person hit with bullets. That is a crapload of ammo he had. I heard he shot a man 3 times and he didn't die, so he definitely used more than one bullet per person, at least for some people, so he was covered in ammo, I mean covered. That is just fucking crazy. We really do need to invent necromancy so we can bring fucks like this back for torture.

By the way, this is HISTORY, real HISTORY. You all know how Columbine was historical? This is going to be THREE TIMES as historical, so people, just try to understand how big this is.

This is truly sad. That one man can slay 32 others, (Not really confirmed, but it doesnt even matter) because of his selfish reasons. These innocent people, who were going to grow up and do something, maybe change the world, get there fire put out so early. One demented freak did all this. The semen he was in must have turned over in moms belly. This is just madness. Image how the family and friends feel about this, in fact, might as well 5 to the counter because there will probably be suicides over their best friends and family dieing. A death of someone you care about affects so much and causes so much misery, life is over for you. Imagine if not one, but 5 of your friends died.

To the family and friends, I hope you got to say "good by and I love you" because god knows I didn't and most people never get to. I hope that manic burns and rots in hell, and enjoyed that fucking bullet that went into his body. The subject of banning guns in the U.S. is insane because in the U.S. gives people the right to bear arms for their own protection, and that is one of the reasons that this country is so great. But it also is terrible because of things like this and all the damage that one weirdo can do. That the government lets this happen! All we can do is stand back and ask why this happens, and hope, and for religious people pray, that this doesnt happen to your friend, and your family.

Can you imagine the thoughts of those poor students as they breathed their last breaths? This is terrible. Sometimes you wish it could be you instead, or that you could have been there to stop it. It is like columbine. But it is really us that make this happen. Imagine, you make fun of someone or dump YOUR significant other, and they go and do this? If we could all learn to stop hating, and mistreating each other, like when you make fun of that kid with that wears glasses and has rags for clothes...... Then your looking down the barrel of a gun. Kindness is the KEY, because maybe you becoming that miserable and UN-popular loners friend can change so much. Treat others how you want to be treated, you know?

If you could only learn to control your hate, and calm down your violence, that this could all be avoided. I damn that man for taking his own life, he deserves to be beat, and murdered for every one of those people he killed. He could have just calm downed, and asked for help, instead of taking all of these peoples lives. But really, you can never tell what is going to happen because people like this can choose victims for such random reasons, who would of thought he killed 32 people, including himself, because his girlfriend dumped him? What if one of the maniacs killed all of his friends because he wanted to prove that he could do it?

The school also could have done something to stop this. Like a fucking lot more damn security! This whole thing makes me so angry because next thing I know, someone is going to copy this dude and shoot MY friends, MY family, and me! This is why video games and TV shows get blamed, like this site, because they show these things happening, but it isn't like that fucking gave the freak a loaded gun and told them what to do! Congrats Entertainment, on being the latest scapegoat!

I, myself, blame security, and GUN BACKROUND CHECK, THEY SHOULD ALSO ADD A FUCKING MENTAL VALUATION OR SOMETHING. WHAT THE FUCK?? They should have fucking security and faster reacting police units for this shit, especially where there are so many people IN ONE DAMN PLACE, AND THAT CANT HAVE WEAPONS!!! All states should add a law that in any place where you cannot bring weapons of your own to increase security incredibly, and more thorough work at a scene, like CHECKING EVERY INCH ON GROUND, AROUND TOWN, AND EVERY ROOM FOR WEAPONS!

I'll stop now so people who actually read posts that have more then 3 sentences don't get bored reading MY NONSENSE.

I read about it now. Didn't really care much until now, although I was going to look into it.

The teacher who saved his class by blocking the door was a hero, in my opinion.. If I was there, I would've tried to save him, regardless of how foolish that may sound. I'm an idiot like that.. I mean, If he had the courage to help me while risking his life, I'd have the courage to risk my life helping him. He seemed like a very intelligent man, too. What a waste. Well, at least he died saving a whole class. That would've brought the death count up drastically.

No I personally wouldn't, and I've actually received firearms training because I WILL get my concealed to carry permit in december when I turn 21.

And actually, actually there are many cases every year where American good Samaritans have prevented crimes, rapes, attempted murders etc with the use of their firearms. That is what it's for, and that is actually why Texas, a state where almost everyone has guns, has smaller murder rates than other areas such as Washington DC, where all firearms are illegal.

My city has pretty loose gun laws, and we have a very small murder rate.

It's sad because I can't remember this many people dying since 9/11/01.

Yes, but this isn't a robbery or attempted murder. This was a massacre, done by a suicidal man anyway. While concealed weapon laws might have some effect on murder rates, the "school shoot-up" scenario, I don't think, would apply to this.

Personally I believe it wouldn't make a difference if some of those students happen to be carrying guns. And intrestingly enough, I read earlier on this thread, you were discussing how most of the people who do things like this will obtain their guns on the black market. This particular student bought his from a gun shop, not on the black market. So it can help as well as hurt.

When it comes right down to it, it's not the right (or lack thereof) to carry a concealed weapon, or violence in our entertainment that causes these sorts of things.

It's caused from things like bullying, being a social outcast, or in this case, according to various reports, an ex-girlfriend was involved.

I don't think you'll be able to fix things like that. There will always be those who cannot deal with the extremely stressful nature of life in America and other such countries. Fast-paced and demanding school and work lives, a need for an extremely active social life. Some people just can't handle it and snap.

While of course the motives and background will change from case to case, I believe this is the primary cause for a majority of these school shootings.

My Older Brother goes to Virginia Tech. Thankfully hes alright, but his girlfriend was in The classroom that had a shooting at the time but shes also O.K. But I give my deep sympathy to all those smart, nice people who died. And may THAT DIRTY KOREAN CRAZY S.O.A.B BASTARD BURN IN THE BLAZING DEEPEST DARK DEPTHS OF PAINFUL HELL!
