It's going to be interesting to see the polical ramifications from this tragic event.
Many anti-Gun ownership lobbyist's are going to use this as a springboard to support their intentions. Also the media will undergo several "blame-games" on why such a tragic event occurred. One thing I will be keen to know is the type of person who did the shooting, why he was able to do such a, for lack of a better word, efficient job at slauthering innocent people.

Elfer, I was just showing interesting information, I wasn't trying to prove anything.

Aside from the fact that you were repeatedly calling him the shooter, or the guy you think is the shooter, and saying that it was really likely based on the "evidence."

You don't come into a topic about shootings, then post some guy and show a bunch of things that are common between him and the shooter then claim you weren't trying to prove anything.

Gun-toting maniacs.

Very sad though.

To be honest, I'd rather live in a world with less lax gun control. Something like that would change the headlines from "32 Dead as Maniac Rampages in School" to "One Person Dead from 32 Bullet Wounds at School."

I'd much prefer that one.

Damn, I now feel bad for that guy from VT that people were flaming by their jumping to conclusions when he wasn't to blame at all. Wait, this reminds me of the blame game on innocent people like with the Columbine school shooting................and 9-11....................and the war in Iraq................and Hurricane Katrina....................and the Duke Lacrosse scandal..............

Really, this is gonna become the blame game to a level even South Park's Levee episode could not have imagined.

Oh shit, you don't want me to get started on you fucking "CONSPIRACY!!!11!!1!!one!!" idiots.

and the war in Iraq.

You're just listing random events. Who the hell would you blame besides Sadam for not getting rid of his nukes??? And don't tell me he didn't have any, it showed him parading them through the streets on the way to destroying them before the war even started.

and Hurricane Katrina.

Okay, so you're 1 for 5. Good job?

Okay, let me reference a different situation.

Every time my school even has the notion that there's a stranger on campus, they go apeshit; the school is thrown into a critical lockdown, students are herded into classrooms and told to shut the fuck up, blinds are drawn, doors are locked, and lights are shut off. All until you hear the "All-Clear" go over the PA system.

Now, are you about to tell me that the shitheads running Virginia Tech not only DIDN'T initiate some sort of lock-down procedure after the first shooting (or increase security), but then gave the shooter a chance to come back several hours later to a different building?

What the FUCK?!

this is way worse than columbine! 2 shot dead in their dorm then hours later 31 more slayed by gunfire. this is the highest death toll ever recorded of a campus shooting.

My sympathy for Virginia's Polytechical--
I have an online friend who goes to there, and she knew one of the victims as a very close friend.

I hope that I will never experiance anything like this... or any tragedy, really...
I don't know how she feels for losing a friend. It's weird that I have never meet this girl. In real life, I mean.

So how do I respond in the situation where a hug is most appropriate?
Only thing I could say, really, is-- hang on and that I recognize she's in a lot of pain.

People who make video games,

Wern't blamed by anybody important. That's a bad exampl of missplaced blame anyways. Hell, people blaming videogames is like Al Sharpton complaining about racism.

fat people,

Are always to blame anyways.

ya fatty.
jazz musicians, that sort of thing.

It's too bad theres no real way to prevent these kinds of things.
Gun control won't really work- if they were going to kill multitudes of people and then themselves, I dont think they care about gun laws, and it leaves the law abiding, innocent victims without guns during normal murders. (Of course they dont have guns during school, though.)
I don't think it's as much violent videogames as it is the glorification of these events- I'm not talking about the mournings, I'm talking about morons like Jack Thomspan. It sets the concept deep within peoples minds from hearing about it, and it won't be as much of an unheard of option of releasing intense anger as it would be years ago.

Well, R. I. P. to the victims.

did anyone view the kitty krew's latest "masterpiece" ? They're making fun of the virginia shooting, and over 30 people got a 2-day ban from insulting them in the reviews about it, a 2 day ban from submitting things to the portal, I think the kk should get the punishment , not the users who are pissed of at they're retarded schemes and daily spam.
