It has been decided by me that I am a prophet. I shall now tell you of future events.

in 2008 someone will be elected into office as president

before 2010 this president will be accused of a scandal

within moments opponents to said president will flock to political forums all over the internet to bash said president

opposing news channels will make damn sure the world knows of said president's scandal

proponents of said president will try to compare it to Bush or Clinton's time in office and say, "its not that big of a deal."

the opponents will disagree and call for said president to resign

said president will ignore the call for resignation.

an opposing person of high rank within the opposition's party will do something that goes against the president's agenda, said person's party will praise him, opposing party will condemn.

people will flock to political forums to bash said person and call for resignation.

That is my prophesy.

Yeah, that's kinda what the news is there for. Biased either way, it doesn't matter, if something big happens (ie Monica Lewinsky or Karl Rove) every network is going to carry something about it. News is still business, any business that doesn't try and stay in the game generally doesn't last long.

Agreed, not all of us want to have a two-party system, but it has such a monopoly on American politics that it's risky to spend your vote on a third party because they have no chance of winning in the big elections.

I agree, it is sheer folly for parties(ie green party) to run for presidential office, when they haven't even established themselves in congress or the senate.
