I'm trying to shape tween a line. I just want one of the ends to move, but instead of only moving one point, the entire line flips around instead. I made a short flash giving you a visual of the problem:

Any idea what I need to do?

Instead of shape tween. Use motion Tween. Hit 'Free Transform' and move the little circle in the middle to the bottom point. Then just use the Motion Tween and turn it to where you want. I hope I helped.

Except that motion tween doesn't work with lines.

Press q and move the little white circle to the bottom of the line. Do that for the first and last frame of the tween.

It does, but you have to convert them to a symbol first...

But here is what you do:
Delete the 2nd (finishing) line AND the keyframe
Delete the shape tween setting
Create a new keyframe at the point where you want the line to finish - NOT a blank keyframe
Move the line to its' finishing posistion
Add the tween

I have had the same problem with shape tweening, sad to say it happens alot and you just have to fiddle with it. And if it goes wrong you HAVE to delete the result and start over. It can take a long time to get right.
