I really didn't get this. the console came out and it was this huge thing. well it lasted for about 4 moths and just died. Why did nintendo even release this if they were making Wii anyway?

Yeah, but for some reason, the Wii has been reeling in the most money out of the top 3 new game consoles. Maybe because they made the Ps3 too damn expensive but it shows, the Xbox 360 okay but a few bugs in it, mainly you could cook a egg on it when the "three lights of death" show up. And the Wii is cheap and you can download other Nintendo games onto it.

Also... Did you know that those holes on the top of your Wii are for SNGS controllers? I just found that out. You can even play the tens of SNGS games on your Wii if you bought any.

But the Wii is more of a "family" console, which kinda sounds corny in a way. I remember seeing something on Yahoo that said the Wii has made the most money overall. But alas, I/We could be wrong.

It's a Nintendo Gamecube wow I am seriously saddend by how quickly this game is being forgotten all I gotta say is that you sire are missing out for there are very fun legend of zelda games on it and there's the simpsons hit & run on it, James Bond, Super Smash Bros. Melee. Seriously ask anyone in 2000 the only thing competeing with this bad boys sale was the XBox and this system was and still is very popular. I have one and I feel I must comfort the gamecube because of this.

No, I just looked up the approximate sales for all 3 consoles on wikipedia. Xbox 360 has approx. 12 million units sold, Wii has approx. 6 million, and PS3 has approx. 3 or 4 million, I forget now.

I played a Wii for the first time 2 days ago at my friends house, we stayed up until 4:30 AM playing boxing. We made a really funny chick character with a mustache, and we had a marathon until we reached pro level, at 1000 experience. It was fun :D

But i'm still getting an Xbox 360 Elite around the time it comes out. I don't have a 7th generation console yet.

Its a Wii, minus the wiimote. It will take a while for folks to figure it out, but eventually, people will wonder why the hell they bought the same system twice instead of buying a add on censor remote. Thank you, that is all. PS360 FTW.

yeah you're right platinum =D I am currently playing The Legend of Zelda thw Windwaker for like the 6th time lol I love that game, I had it ever since I was in the 6th grade......I'm just upset about this guy's ignorance because the only other game system I own besides gamecube is the Gameboy Advance SP (don't go calling that a damn Super Nintendo foldable gaming system or anything) so GBASP and GCN are basically my favorite consoles

For example (I'm sure some good people remember this) nintendo at first made a nintendo glove for the N.E.S. and instead of having you're precious little "sensor bar" that the wii has, it had two small boxes that sat on the corners of the t.v. and it worked the same as the Wii-mote and nunchuck but it was a glove. And the future of gaming may be here but don't forget these words "A classic NEVER dies."
