Avril Lavigne on Letterman

The must be THE most horrible live performace I've ever taken to viewing.

1. She can't sing.
She's much much worse live than on overly-produced recordings. She sounds like a 13 year old male. She has no damn charisma, she simply stands there at the microphone, occasionally placing one hand on it pretending it does some good. She has NO enthusiasm in her voice, it's complete off-key monotone crap.

2. That drummer
What the hell is this guy doing, swatting the flies landing on his snare? I can masturbate at a more steady pace, for Jesus' sake.

3. Guitar wangers
Does there really need to be two of them? I don't recall any epic solos in need of rhythm riffs when bass wouldn't have done it alone well enough.

4. Bass guy
The only enthusiastic guy on the stage there - because he had nothing else to DO. He was headbanging like he had Kerry King up there with him before his superfluous part had even started.

Sometimes there's one playing the melody while the other does the crazy guitar stuff... but if they're doing that usually the singer does the melody.
