Can't you shrink the icons using this method: Right-click Desktop> Properties> Settings. Locate Screen Resolution and move the slider until it is at the maximum resolution, which is: 1440 by 900 pixels.
I could, but blown up icons like that really don't bother me.
Also, what is Switch and Sound Catcher and waht Verizon software is that? AND is it free?
Switch is a sound converting program. But i recently got Audacity and that's workin fine. Only problem is that I have a problem recording stuff on vista with it. Oh wells.
Sound Catcher is a sound recording program that records wuts playing on your monitor. Yet another program that's denied access to my sound card and i need to wait for an update for that to work. I still have my XP laptop, so it won't be a problem for me.
And the verizon program is a thing where i plug my phone into the comptuer and it converts songs that I select into some format and places them on my phone. Kinda like an iPod on my phone. I'm considering getting a thing where I can just put MP3s on the SD card directly which will also allow me to listen to the music on my wii.

The fact that the OS forced you to actually go back in time is amusing to me. That really sucks. Yet another reason for me to say that Vista sucks. Oh well, it;s not like I am collecting them together or anything.
First of all, the OS didn't force me to go back in time, it's the verizon program that did that. It was made before vista was released so the program doesnt even know how to be compatable with the OS. And vista doesnt suck thank you very much. It's just that it's newer and a lot of things haven't upgraded to it's standards yet, and pacient people like me don't mind. =3
