Yeah, those will all be great, but they're also all known quantities, like I said. Nothing there is going to be leaps and bounds better or different than its predecessor. Sony's lineup has the same thing. LBP2 could surprise me, but I get the feeling I'll react the same way I did to LBP: game was fun, but I didn't care enough to create my own levels or play tons of other people's. It seems all the exciting games for me came out in the first half of the year.

I don't even own a Wii yet.

Kirby Epic Yarn. Going to be the greatest.

Well after it gets delayed a few times and you have graduated college, then it will be released.

That would probably be for the best, actually.

Ouch I feel for you mate.

Mine just got back from being repaired, I've finally done a backup onto a portable HDD, and now I need to save up for a PS3 Slim and PS2 memory card adapter, then I'm sorted :)

I just found one of the best Rock Band songs. It's called "Gay Bar" by Electric Six. It's not particularly interesting or extremely fun to play (it's decidedly average), but it's a pretty good song to listen to, along with being hilarious.

That's awesome! Electric Six is one of my favorite bands, I might be seeing them live in September. Need to go find a friend with Rockband so I can play it.

I remember owning that game when I was a kid. I got it one Christmas but when I tried to play it, it wouldn't work at all! I think we got another copy of that and that didn't work either so we took it back and I got Tekken 3 instead. I suppose it was worth it in the end since Tekken 3 is my favourite fighting game of all time.

Me and Jerk did it when we played a while back. It's pretty good.

It's been on there for like 2 years :P.

I never really played it, but my mum loved it so I would buy it for her sake but shes hardly going to be able to play it given my PS3 is in my room.

I bought it day it went up.

Downloaded the Section 8 demo, 'twas awesome. Just wish they gave you a longer play time because I'm getting sick of timed demos.

Still waiting for fallout new vegas. I'm pre-ordering the collector's edition.

Its odd that with the PS3, 360, Wii, and cheaper/better PCs, more adults play games consoles and games have got easier, where as back in the good old days, nobody over 16 would own a PS1, and the games were far harder.
You'd think games aimed at kids would give a bit more leniency towards failure, and that games aimed towards both kids but also 20-30 year olds would pose much more of a challenge.

Why don't you just buy the game? Isn't it like $10 on sale right now? And you said it was awesome.

I wouldn't trust Obsidian with games anymore.. Alpha Protocol was horrible.

I don't see the purpose of wasting so much more money on the collector's edition. All you get is like... playing cards and a poker chip. Then the usual concept art I can view online ( and don't need to anyway, I'd have the whole game! ). Just useless stuff for a higher price.

I guess it's more of a thing for big fans. I love Fallout and would spend that much for the game.

Thank god. I'm not sure what is with the online. I played the first 2 levels by myself on hardcore before we played, and while I had a few deaths, it wasn't as bad as what happened to us.

So when Final Fight: Double Impact first came out, I tried downloading it off a friend and it didn't work. Had some sort of DRM on it which was strange. Not the Warhawk kind of DRM, but just not playable period on any other account.

So my friend let me on his account again today as I had wanted to re-download Bomberman Ultra.. I tried Final Fight just for the hell of it and to my surprise it worked. I played it for about 2 hours and I was already done with the game.

I died around 40 times and felt pleased anyways, but couldn't help but be mad at it's length.

Nahh I used to play my PS1 with my dad, we played Doom, Abes Oddysee and Metal Gear Solid :P also my uncle is the person who got me into games in the first place with Half Life :)

He has his own PS3 downstairs which he completed CoD3, 4 and WaW on, but his wrist is fucked after surgery a few years ago so he can't quite get to grips with the independant analogue sticks, so he mostly just watches DvDs and Blu-Rays and stuff on iPlayer.

On a side note I was feeling nostalgic yesterday and dug out Dino Crisis, Quake 2, Resident Evil and Final Doom, epicness on a stick.

If you choose Eat Lead over Uncharted 2, I would begin to question your sanity. Really, one of the least enjoyable games I've ever played.

I've gotten back to ffxiii. After initially throwing it aside because I didn't enjoy the first six or so hours, I decided to pick it back up. I'm currently about 20 hours in, and it has definitely improved, but the major complaints you hear thrown around a lot about it are still valid. Still, I think it's a game worth playing.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy nerd, so the game could consist of nothing more than eating turds laced with anthrax and I'd still jizz over it.

I just fixed my controller with the strangest method. It wasn't doing anything at all. No lights blinking and it wouldn't connect with or without the USB. So just for the hell of it, I connect the controller to my PC and the lights blinked. Now the controller connects perfectly to my PS3. . . . Thought I'd share my bizarre story . . .

I just need to finish it on max hazard for the plat. I think I can endure it one more time. Just...

Got my 10th plat last night by the way. Celebrated in my usual fashion by doing a copious amount of crotch chops.

I don't get what everyone's problem with FFXIII is.

I enjoyed it thoroughly and even though I've played FF7, IX, III, etc. I would still name it as one of my favorites in the series.
