I'm almost done with The Saboteur. I'd say the mid-7 reviews it got were about right. It shares a lot of similarities with Assassin's Creed. An open-world German occupied France is pretty unique and the whole contrasting of the black-and-white and color is really nifty. I think it would be a really good game if it just had a better climbing system like Assassin's Creed or InFamous. Climbing just isn't fast enough and the city isn't built properly to facilitate climbing as a viable means of transportation. Everything else is pretty standard fair for a GTA-style game. It was a good pickup for $20, but I can see why EA didn't want to keep Pandemic on.

Holy shit, Atomic Robo is on the PSP comics store, and it's free (some of it anyway).
You should all totally download it. It's so ace, he fights time travelling evil genius dinosaurs and teams up with Carl Sagan to defeat Lovecraftian horrors.

Someone else uses the comic store?
Should I post that too when they update? I'm annoyed that they haven't submitted the X-men comics again.

I don't use it, I just noticed it said Atomic Robo in the update on the Playstation blog. Only comics I read are Buffy Season 8, Atomic Robo and the Serenity ones, and I just wait for the paper back collections to come out, rather than reading each issue when it's released.

Drunken Lullabies is so ace in Rock Band. You play the banjo part! Quite tricky, though.

Hey, long time no see. As a returning gift, I've got a ModNation Racers PSP Beta code and no PSP to use it on. So either you send me a PSP, or I'll send you the code.
PM me with what you're offering.

I've been playing it the past couple of days. I haven't played too deep, but the story so far is much more interesting than the 'Work for him for a couple of missions, move up, assassinate previous employer, repeat' pattern of the original GTA4. Not making me re-drive to locations when I redo a mission is a welcome addition, but I feel like they could still make friendlier checkpoints. Don't make me shoot through the building again and again when I keep failing escaping the cops after leaving the building. The engine's definitely lost a lot in the way of graphical sheen too. It's still a technically impressive city, but I think it looks ugly in places, particularly during the day.

My top 3 newest games?
God of War 3 (March 16; 1 month, 1 week, 1 day old)
Heavy Rain (February 23; 2 months, 2 days old)
Rock Band 2 (December 25; fucking long ago)
But that doesn't matter. I've got a back catalog of games I haven't completed, or games that I just love to keep playing. As long as it's fun, it shouldn't matter how old it is.
Although it does piss me off that I've got a bunch of games I want and no money to get them.
Anybody wanna help a poor white man out?
Get a job, hippie. I'm getting an awesome $600 check in 4 days. Granted, $400 is reserved for the loans I've taken out from my parents, and I'm probably going to need about $60-$70 for gas, but that's still about $120 of spare money. And 2 weeks after that, I'm going to get a similar check.
