Reminds me that I need a bookcase of some sort to put my growing number of games in. Also Gamefly decided to send me GOW 3 so I'll be enjoying that earlier than expected.

It's a bargain actually. The only maps I want are the 2 CoD4 maps, but those alone aren't worth paying 1200 MS points/£10 for.

I'd definitely consider buying single player and spec ops DLC though.

That isn't a goddamn bargain. If anything the UK version will be £12 or even £15.

You can buy a full game on steam for the price of 3 maps and 2 maps made 3 years ago that Activision is offering.

Buy the MW2 map pack and I'll brand you a tit for the rest of the year. As soon as something comes out that I really want I'm getting rid of it. I'm guessing it will probably be GT5 or Hitman.

Picked up my GOW3 today, although I haven't had a chance to play it. I got work out of my ass.

Yeah, there's not much going on in the story, at least to the point where you couldn't follow it if you jumped in today.

Although, the story isn't horrible. It's got a twist or 2, and if you're familiar (but not completely knowledgeable) with Greek mythology, it's cool to see what they've done with the titans, gods, goddesses, and heroes to make them fit with Kratos.

Oh, and started playing God of War 3. It's pretty much like the last 2, but much more visceral, gory much prettier. They've cleaned up the game play mechanics a bit, although one or two things still feel a bit clunky.

Needless to say, this game is infinitely more bad ass than iterations with battles against Poseidon, Hades and Helios (sun god). And that's just the first 3 hours. Definitely worth the price if you enjoyed the first 2 games.
