Also, The Lost World has that incredible bit at the beginning, where the Dreamworks logo with the kid fishing from the moon comes up, he gets a bite, goes "Got something!", gets pulled off, and you hear a raptor noise.

The voices are still dead funny. And knocking people into mine fields never gets old.
Swapped my old PS3 in yesterday at GAME and got £150 for it. £60 more than my local game shop offered me (bastards). Got Bad Company 2 (game of the year for sure) and AvP. Still got about £70 left over to spend. Good times.

God damn it. Got the DNA on level 1, breezed through level 2 and 3, then made loads of stupid mistakes on that level where you're dodging the brontosaurs and lost 3 lives, leaving me with just 2 going into A Sleeping Titan.
Died straight away first try, and then managed to get through right to the end, where he caught me on the pass where you need to run through his legs, putting me to red health, and then I bumped into a fucking poison flower and died.
OH WELL BACK TO THE START.

Now THAT was a hard game, especially the last bosses. Despite that, I still loved the idea of the last world and the events you experience.

Yes. In fact, I just there now spent a good deal longer than I should have trying to beat Cutman.
I've heard Mega Man 4 was the easiest. Any truth to that?

Wrong game, Cutman's in Mega Man 1.

I've only played Mega Man 2, 3, 9 and soon 10. Mega Man 4 will be out on VC sometime in the future so I'll probably get it then assuming it does come out in Europe as well as the game not being raped by god awful PAL conversions.

Easiest Mega Man for me was 2.. Even the Sidekick LX version on a phone was harder, mainly because of the controls.. But still damn easy.
Hardest HAS to be Mega Man 9. I beat Galaxy Man and haven't beaten ANY other bosses since I've gotten the game.
The next easiest MM game would have to have been 8 I think.. The one with the race car man and the one who looks like an icicle.. I had it in japanese and it had Bass on the screen in purple?

Yes.
I don't share your cynicism and snobbery as you're wrong and simply don't understand the joy of these games.
These games aren't something you play once and are done with.
I've played about 1000 matches on Fifa 10 and I still love it. And its a fantastic social game. Far more interesting online that your FPS.
Fifa is always far cheaper than other games, and for a game you can play all year £20-30 is well worth it.
Also:
Uncharted > Uncharted 2.
Same fucking game.
Any Call of Duty game > Any Call of Duty game after that first one.
Same fucking game.

I'm not being a snob. I'm just calling you foolish. I don't see any notable improvements in these yearly sports series like I do in my FPS games, which you so-smartly assumed that I only play.
Call of Duty 4 to World at War completely changed the entire style of play, with new ranks, weapons, maps, framerates, graphics and modes. World at War to Modern Warfare 2 changed yet again, with the same things.
Fifa 09 to Fifa 10 added a few new people to the roster, brought up the graphics a bit, and that was it. And the servers got / are getting shut down with each release, while my FPS games are not.

It's a strange feeling, agreeing with scetch.

He's talking about buying Fifa every year, not playing it a bit then forgetting about it. And I can play a game often and still enjoy as much as the first time.
What I, and scetch, are talking about, is the fact that Fifa 11 will be the same as Fifa 10, only with a slight graphical improvement (if at all) and different rosters (which now can be updated anyway). There's no point in buying Fifa 11 if you already own Fifa 10. Unless, of course, they take down the online servers.
Fifa is always far cheaper than other games, and for a game you can play all year £20-30 is well worth it.
A bit different then here in America (yearly sports games $60), but it still isn't a good enough reason. You can pay the few pounds and get Fifa 10's roster updated every week/month/year/whatever time frame they do it.
Also:
Uncharted > Uncharted 2.
Same fucking game.
More like vastly improved game. Story aside, Uncharted 2 was practically perfect in every single way, and Uncharted 1 is above average.
Any Call of Duty game > Any Call of Duty game after that first one.
Same fucking game.
I'll give you that one, with the exception of MW and MW2 (which are the same game anyway).
But it's not about the basic mechanics. By your logic, there's no difference between the original Doom and Bioshock. What makes each game different (usually) is the story, the controls, the weapons/items and the various new mechanics and graphics added. Each game, while similar to the previous installment or other games in the genre, is wholly different.
For instance, Uncharted 2. You still play as Nathan Drake, hunting for some treasure, avoiding humans-turned-creates, trying to bang Elena. But in Uncharted 2, you visit vastly different regions, fight a larger variety of bad guys, get a larger variety of weapons, and of course, the train level.
Fifa 11, on the other hand, is still going to be Man U against Real Madrid, except now the crotch sweat will be more realistic.

Graphical improvements have been significant in recent years, obviously that will stagnate.
I can't disagree with the point about squads, cause its true.
I don't agree with the same game argument though. At the core theres tweaking, making the AI better and make responses more realistic and improving certain things here and there.
And theres always experiments with new game modes, and improving and making those experiments solid parts of the game.
Add everything up, I don't think its unreasonable at all. I find each game to be a new playing experience to the previous one, and generally the games have improved. With Fifa at least anyway.
Look at those Map packs for World at War. They're like £15, for some maps. That is unreasonable.
More like vastly improved game. Story aside, Uncharted 2 was practically perfect in every single way, and Uncharted 1 is above average.
The game was tweaked. Combat was the same, the platforming was the same. Stealth was the only real improved part. And graphics of course.

That sounds like a new Fifa to me :P.
Controls and mechanics are improved. With new stuff added.
Graphics are improved.
Weapons/items can be seen as players, squads, stadiums, kits, balls, whatever.
Fifa 11, on the other hand, is still going to be Man U against Real Madrid, except now the crotch sweat will be more realistic.
... and thats not worth it?

Do I have to join this thing, or is it open to everyone?
If so, I would love to join. I love my PS3, so much I even dust it at night. It's the only system I play, and I'm proud. It's just the best.
Anyway, my PSN is InsertFunnyHere. Also, my next game (since i've beat Demon's Souls already) is probably going to be God of War III. Does anyone know how good this game is? Because my friends told me it's great, but you really have to play the first two to really understand it.
Thanks :)

Pro Evo is better than Fifa. You know I'm right Nev :P
I'm doing very well on BC2. Finished single player but I'm missing quite a few sat uplinks and I need to destroy another 40 odd houses. That can wait though, having too much fun on multiplayer. Getting randomly disconnected and the store not working isn't on though, DICE have had plenty of time to get it ready.

Galaxy Man is definitely the easiest stage in Mega Man 9 as well as the best one to start off with. After that, it's Jewel Man.
Also, I've managed to beat Mega Man 9 on Super Hero mode. :D

Hence why I'm not even going to touch GOW3 until I get the re-release of the first two games on PS3. That's the best opportunity for me to get into God of War.

Just Cause 2 demo, summarised by my most common exclamation during said demo:
"WOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
My only gripe is the voice acting. Worst I've ever heard. In anything. Ever. Troll 2 had better acting than this.
Rico in the first game had such a stylish, suave voice, and his actor was great. He gave the perfect air of a dashing Latino mercenary/ladies man. Why replace him with this generic, gravelly voiced action hero fucker who sounds like he's just out of acting school?

You'd be right 3 years ago. Pro Evo hasn't changed anything since about 2004. Fifa has taken over, everyone knows this.
Plus tricks are well more fun on Fifa. All you can do on PES is side step.
And the chicken running that is so ugly to look at on PES.
Hopefully PES will try and re-assert itself with 2011.
