We brought word yesterday that Section 8 was on its way to PS3, and that's simultaneously gotten more and less solid -- a phenomenon we're pretty sure would freak even Bill Nye out. While we know concretely that it will arrive on Sony's console this spring, we also learned it won't be arriving in a solid form at all, as the title will be exclusively available on PSN.

Moreover, this new version will include the three maps 360 and PC players had to pay extra for and the ability for players to host games on their PCs (as seen in the Xbox 360 version). We worry that a bit too much time has passed to get PlayStation owners interested in Section 8, but putting it on PSN seems like a darn smart way to do it. We also suspect that a certain legal commotion might have a little involvement with the decision.

It didn't make sense because it was quite unexpected I think. On replay it does make sense, not too much obvious sense but you can pick up tiny clues that were always there just were nothing anyone thought to realise.

Then I must have missed a lot.

*Spoilers**Spoilers*

I knew he had the typewriter, but there's no way to know it's a Royal S unless you're hardcore. And when you were in the typewriter store, I know remember that there wasn't a back door, so the killer had to be Scott. But other than that, I didn't see much of anything that would even lead me to suspect he was the killer.

Overall, it's a great game. There are plenty of moments when you're just as tense, frantic, or unsure as the characters, and the music and visuals are wonderful. The voice acting isn't always 100%, but it's serviceable.
Yeah personally I fucking loved it, but then I was a huge fan of Fahrenheit or Indigo Prophecy so I was always going to love this next 'interactive drama'. Could have done with it being a little bit longer, but I guess that's just greed on my part. Got loads of replaying to do anyway if I want to get all the endings..

It actually felt much longer than the 10-12 hours I took to beat it. I think there was just so many tense moments that I felt I took too long to do, when in reality it was only a few seconds.

I bought Heavy Rain on Friday but haven't played it yet.
I can't play any of my new games until I've got that last preDLC Fifa 10 trophy. I have 120(ish) of my needed 100 wins.
\o/ for shitty trophies.

If online trophies didn't exist I could complete these games at my leisure and do other things with my time, instead I'm too hung up on missing a plat once the servers go offline. I'd said it before, trophies are ruining video games :P.

Borrowed Borderlands from a friend, and its a fun game over all. But really, it gets VERY boring after like an hour or so of constant play, maybe even a half hour. It seems like your doing the same thing over and over again. Basically like Dead Space (Great Game). I probably wont buy it.

*SPOILERS* I beat Heavy Rain at my uncles house knowing about the ending. I had killed off Scott about halfway through the game, and my ending had Madison as the Origami Killer :O

But other than that, I didn't see much of anything that would even lead me to suspect he was the killer.

MORE SPOILS

The Typewriter store bit actually pissed me off. It actually has no excuse not to show us because we are there controlling the character. It was like a cop out to me. Let's just black out this vital scene so we can keep the player guessing for longer and not suspect him.

I think the key though is how Scott does his thinking. I took the time to listen to all of his thoughts and everything he doe think is carefully does so that he never once says "Who is the killer?". Isn't that the whole point of being a P.I to the case like we thought he was? To look for the killer. Also it can be a little suspect that 3 of the 8 parents he visited in the games had no clue about him or his investigation - "I'm here on behalf of the parents who lost their children". Then how come those 3 parents were not aware?! Also I realised afterwards that he never asked the shop owner about the sons mother. He asked both the mothers - Lauren and Suicide mum about what happened to the kids fathers because HE knew, and wanted to make sure the fathers didn't tell their women anything before they went off to fail in their trials but he didn't care with the shop owner about the mother, he just wanted any evidence.

Ok it's not too obvious but you can see how it can make sense. The game just tried to take attention off it maybe being him by giving him heroic scenes.

It actually felt much longer than the 10-12 hours I took to beat it. I think there was just so many tense moments that I felt I took too long to do, when in reality it was only a few seconds.

Lol probably.

Not for me as I hardly pay attention to achievements. The only time when I care about them is for TF2 unlocks on PC. The rest, they're just a small bonus to me and I'll play through the games as normal.

HMV have God of War 3 on offer this week. Preorder now and you get it for £35 instead of £40.

They seem to be doing this for EVERY SINGLE GAME IN THE WORLD EVER these days.

I don't like to preorder from Amazon. Unless you pay for the really expensive shipping (like, not the £1.20 or whatever is one, the £8 or so one), you'll not get it on release day.

Game and HMV always get you it for release, Play it's 50/50.

I guess. It's a bit of a stretch, but it's possible.

That's a worse twist then the one I saw. Although, going on what Gagsy said, I might be able to believe it.

The Heavy Rain origami looks a lot less cool when you've actually made it and look at it from any other angle :(.

Still, I like that touch :).

Apparently there is a major issue with PSN at the moment. It isn't maintenance.

Leap year problem. Plus according to various sources people had their triples turn on by themselves. Skynet has begun.

A friend of mine in my dorm borrows my controllers all the time. So I like to just not resync the controller once he returns it to me and just periodically turn on his ps3, or keep pushing the menu button if it syncs as player 2.
