Well crap... I just realized something... I got 75 dollars in gift cards to game stop, and I'm about to be bombarded with games I want...

Bioshock 2
MAG
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing (Maybe. It depends on the roster.)
Lost Planet 2
God of War 3

All in one month. Time to sell my body for money again...

God of war 3 isn't out until april, lost planet in february as is bioshock 2, and SEGA all stars racing is something you could easily pass up.

Yeah, early April. I'm talking about February. And I will most likely skip All star racing, unless Sly Cooper is in it.

That new Uncharted 2 skin pack is making me more giddy than a schoolgirl. As soon as my friend gets it, he's letting me get it from him. This will force me to rip open the plastic from my unopened Uncharted 2 case (Sorry SMC, it's been far too long.), and I will play as Cole online for 20 hours straight.

The pilot of the Battlestar Galactica prequel "Caprica" is free on the US video store.

It came out on DVD ages ago, but only aired on TV this week, as the series has started properly now.

It's pretty ace. No need to have any knowledge of Galactica either.

It has the most accurate representation of how a holodeck/future internet would REALLY be used, too (hint: gangbangs and murder).

I had bought F.E.A.R 2 a month or two back for $10 during Gamefly's sale, and I beat it today. The actual shooting gameplay in it was about average, with a pretty heavy dependence on bullet-time, but the psychological thriller stuff gives it enough of a hook to be pretty fun and definitely worth $10. The ending is pretty funny.

During the end battle, you're in Alma's sort of dream world. While you're fighting, you hear Alma moaning occasionally. In the final cutscene you see that Alma is pregnant, so she pretty much date rapes you.

So who is getting M.A.G. on Tuesday? Anyone? Not looking too hot for the game. Apparently the reason for it not having any reviews is because the main feature of the game is 256 players and they want people to play it first. I guess that makes sense but $60 is a lot to put down for a game without any reviews.

I'm picking it up, I liked it a lot more than MW2. So I'll probably be playing it a lot.

at least until I pick up White Knight Chronicles

Most people should have an opinion formed on the game from the beta. If they want to play more, they'll buy it.

My opinion for that game is that if there is no real difference between the actual game and the Beta, like how 40 is the cap and there is only so many weapons.... Well I'm still buying it. It was the first FPS online game that I actually was good at. So far the list of good fpss in my opinion are Halo, MAG, and TF2. Since I'm so good at them.

I'm sure the vast majority of buyers on Tuesday will be beta players, but I was thinking about buying it and almost didn't get into the beta. It was only through here that I got an invite. I don't know, this just feels a bit like Socom all over again.

Exactly. There's a reason they had the open Beta in time for pre-orders to be made (or canceled).

Personally, I played the Beta and ended up canceling my order. I realized that after the initial burst of players, the main hook (256 players at once) wasn't going to last as people dropped out. I mean, the waiting times were long enough before, but imagine trying to get 256 players from 2 of 3 teams together 6 months after launch.

Me and a bunch of NG peeps had our own dodgeball game on MW2 last night. There were lots of screams, mostly from Sketch.

I could see how that would be a fear of buying MAG. But trust me, the servers are going to be full of players for a long time to come. If a 10+ year old pc game still has a large number of people playing it daily, then I think a modern game of this caliber would be popular for a some time to come.

And come on dude, what other good online FPSs does the ps3 have? What, like 3 games?

The Combat challenges on Arkham Asylum are annoyingly difficult. It's like Mirror's Edge all over again. I know I have the ability to do it, but it's going to take lots of restarts :(.

I loved the Combat Challenges. It was what I needed when the Story Mode felt so empty without so many bad guys. The fighting was top notch as well.

The game will do fine, but good reviews tend to boost sales. Considering the game is getting mostly reviews 7-8 it doesn't really matter. Again, I expect it do be like Socom or a little better. I wasn't too into the beta either, it just wasn't for me.

Even so this review is just poor. Too early, zero amount of time to actually play the game and irrelevant complaints. I know I shouldn't expect much from IGN after the Party Babiez incident but this review is pointless.

It's like reviewing a MMO a day after the servers have gone up.
