How long did your Demon Souls take from shipping to delivery? Mines just shipped from videogameplus. I'm estimating at least a week.

Actually world 5 is bullshit easy, it's just really annoying. You have to take your time and make sure not to fall off anything in 5-1, and if you haven't gotten to 5-2 yet stock up on widows lotus (i think that's the one that cures poison) you'll need them.

All the bosses in World 5 are pushovers though, 2 out of 3 can be killed with arrows from afar. And if you have warding than the second boss is real easy to.

I Must share something, but i have a horrible feeling that Modern Warfare 2 will be on many lists in the future with the title.

Now im not saying the game will be "bad" but if we say that on metacritic (i hate the site but come on) it has an average of 94 then this has to be bettter?! what is it going to be a 99? because this really isnt uncharted 2....

i know the site is un-reliable but its the best option i could find, but dont get me wrong it looks to be like a stellar FPS experiance, and might go down as one of the best FPS games of all time but obviously the reviews this game will get will be huge, and dont forget the profit this game is going to get.

You're using metacritic wrong. You go on the review sites that you trust. Meaning not IGN (7.5 for shovelware), Gamespot (bribed) or eurogamer (biased to get more hits on their site). Granted it's quite difficult to find a reliable review site but metacritic have a shit load of sites that you can use.

But MW2 is indeed the most overrated game out. 5 hour single player, exact same multiplayer with a slightly different skin, no dedicated servers for PC, DLC on day one and it costs more than the recommended retail price and will stay at that price for a good year. Christ the lowest I've seen CoD1 for new was on that steam sale last weekend. The worst case scenario is MW2 selling millions in the first week, Activision get even worse, other publishers follow their example and we continue to get fucked over.

Something being overrated doesn't mean it can't still be fantastic though.

I bought mine from eBay...but it took about a week and a half.

Obviously not the same as buying from a retailer though.

thats why I hate it, as well as the those fucking annoying enemies that shove you like 5 times in a row so you can't roll away from the pit of death thats a centimetre from everywhere you stand.

I think it's the Royal Lotus that heals poison, Widow Lotus cures plague, but yea thanks for the heads up, I heard about a pain in the arse swamp, not looking forward to it.

All the bosses in World 5 are pushovers though, 2 out of 3 can be killed with arrows from afar. And if you have warding than the second boss is real easy to.

I saw a video of the Leechmonger, looks like a piece of piss, I'm slowly upgrading my stats and weapons to actually be useful now so I'll probably use the Compound Longbow +3 on him.

I've started using spells a lot more now, I got Firestorm but I need to upgrade my magic to get 3 slots before I can use it lawl.

I played all of them, yes. MW1 was alright. Not as ground breaking as they say but it was a nice change from WW2. I played a shitload of MW1 on multiplayer.

I stand by my decision that MW2 isn't worth £45. Without Activision's fuck ups I would gladly purchase it for £40. It may be only £5 but I don't like the idea of games getting even more expensive.

Despite my gripes about Infinity Ward and Activision, Modern Warfare 2 will in all likelihood be the best FPS released until Valve or Infinity Ward release their next game. Halo Reach or Rage might be able to compete as well, but I personally think they won't be quite at the same level; Rage might not even be comparable given how much of a hybrid it seems to be.

I think I'm getting towards the end of Ratchet and Clank now, and I really like it. The biggest improvement is the open nature of the space gameplay; it's somewhat reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy with the spherical world. There are a few less weapons, but they all feel useful this time. In Tools of Destruction, there were a bunch of weapons that were more of a novelty. In ACiT, I've found every weapon to be useful at some point. The dialogue is still funny, the visuals are crisper than ever, and the platforming and combat are both really strong.

In the backlog: Demon's Souls, Borderlands, Dragon Age, Lego Rock Band. I also need to do another run-through of Uncharted 2 and Ratchet. It's going to be ridiculously gross once I have a good deal of spare time.

Guess what Activision/IW have done now to MW2.

9v9 max players for PC. Are they trying to see how many people buy it even if you buttfuck the customer? P2P severs for PC too.

What class are you again? At the point in the game that you are you should have some of the special weapons. At the very least grind a bit and get the Lava Bow, which by far destroys all the other bows.

I'll probably get it at some point, but I just got the White Bow,and thats pretty powerful, or it would be if my Dexterity was high enough to use it properly, thats why I'm using the compound Longbow, it only requires a small amount of dex.

mm I'm getting to that point now too, I think it's 14k to upgrade which isnt too bad but it's a pain to have to keep faming 4-1, I hate that cliff, except for when the skeletons roll right off it, funny stuff.

Also I freed Yurt, then murdered him to death. That kinda sucks it's his armour thats sexual because he's just so fucking cool, his voice is epicly evil and he just reeks of awesome.

I think Halo: Reach has the potential of doing it. It may not be the most realistic one but I think it will blow people away.

A lot of people have been saying it reminds them of Super Mario Galaxy. I'm glad ACiT is getting the recognition is should from reviewers and gamers because it really is a good platformer. Lava bow does less physical damage than the white bow, but it adds fire damage to all your arrows. Which makes it much more effective.

Went out today. No post before I left, I assumed there was no post today. Just got back, still no post. I go out for a cigarette later and there's a letter saying I need to go to the post office to pay the customs charge on my demon souls.

I walked passed my local post office while I was out. I could have picked it up today if the post was earlier.

Still that is pretty damn quick for something that was shipped a couple of days ago.
