urgh I keep trying to slog my way through areas of Demons Souls but I just can't keep up, I dont understand why I still take chunks of damage from the Flamelurker when I have the required stats to use the Purple Flame Shield, it just doesn't seem that useful.

Also I had a go at killing the Vanguard in the tutorial, about 5 times, it's not that easy for me, my reactions are so fucking slow at the moment, I got him to about half health then me mullered me.

I'm lonely...

Hey guys, I'm having the "horizontal lines moving up and down on my screen" problem as well as a very annoying humming sound. Yes, I've googled it, but most sources are requiring the purchase of somekind of surge protector (if this is an ovular, beige-tan device that has multiple sockets on the front than my PS3 is already plugged into it).

I heard there was another method of "permanently" removing the lines and the buzzing by apparenly UNPLUGGING the ground cable from behind your TV, though the exact process was not specified.

Now, again, I'm not familiar with the lingo setup. There IS a kind of plug that is on the back of my television that heads IMMEDIATELY into the carpet, I was a kid when my parents put this in so how far exactly it was set in I'm not sure. I once tried PULLING THE PLUG before I knew or guessed exactly what it was before, I've tried pulling it out before, but I doubt it plans to agree with me. If I do pull it out, do I risk any immediate damage to my television? Does this strategy even work?

Anyway, given up on my Solider on DS, working on my Thief now, much more fun, killed the 4-1 boss with the rape tongue (strangely easy...) and gonna have a go at the Flamelurker at some point, once I get the water spell.

I think it depends on where you live as well.
Myself, I always use Amazon, and if I order something thats already out with a 2-3 business day deal on a Thursday, its ALWAYS been there for at most Saturday.
Pre-order is usually release day/day after, depending on if I ordered express or normal delivery.
However for other people Amazon is a lot slower, taking days longer.

Not PS3 related but got L4D2. Well the demo. It's very fun, I'm worried about just how fun taking off both the legs from one zombie really is in fact!

The game is great unless you get the Australian version.

Left 4 Dead 2 has been strongly censored in Australia.

Your going to Google the Treasures...That's why every thirteen year old kid can get a Platinum. Everyone just goggles because they either can be Bothered to actually look and use skill or they suck to much to find them on there own.

Platinum mean nothing if you have to cheat to get them, and I consider Guides cheating.

The problem with flamelurker is that you really dont have the tools to take him on properly in your first run through unless you're a mage. He is very weak to magic damage, so soul arrow/ray is a must. If you insist on melee then pick up enchant weapon or light weapon. Even though I wanted to beat him by myself first try, i swallowed my pride and summoned 2 blue bros. I tanked and distracted while the other guys soul ray'd to death. Easy peezy.

I also beat the game, so now I have to go back and start grinding for rare materials and the like. NG+ seems a lot easier if only because of the amount of experience I have both with fighting enemies as well as with knowing where they are. Larger hitpoint increases dont phase me that much, although even Phalanx took a long time to take down.

I knew he was weak to magic, but the Crescent Falchion+1 my Soldier used didnt seem to do much.

My Theif has Soul Arrow and the same sword so I should be able to do a decent amount of damage next time, I'll just keep raising my strength, dexterity and endurance.
