future of gaming

Ya know, i was thinking in history today about guitar hero and if there would be a #3. I began to think about the PS2 and well, the fact of how long it will last. Just something i couldnt get off my mind. I mean, think about it, XBOX and GAMECUBE are dead pretty much, but PS2 is still out there. How long before its obsolete, before the online capability is shut down, and we are pretty much forced to get a new 3rd gen system? (please feel free to talk about the guiitar hero 3 random thought)

My problem with the 3rd gen systems is how fucking expensive they are i could barely afford the wii and i kind of regret buying it but then we are pretty much forced to buy a 360 as it is next in line and then if you want to play online you have to pay money for it which is total bullshit.

yea, i hope there is a guitar hero 3, thats the factor which will decide weather i buy guitar hero 2 for the 360, i dont wanna have a random plastic guitar which doesnt do anything.

online gaming for it will be shut down when the people who host it are out of money or when having a ps2 is so rare that its a piontless waste of money to keep it running
