A nation can never escape from its history - what it did in the past will always be a part of its future - it's inescapable, and with modern slavery England were one of the key exponents. Through their colonies they brought people from all over Africa back to Britain to use them as house slaves.

And if you won't accept these things because they are "Fucking history" then you cannot take many of zero's complements because a lot of them are now history - many of the people and bands he mentioned are either no longer around or key members are dead. Everything is history - you have to live with what you did in the past.

I'm not talking about at the moment, until VERY recently England has still had some countries under its control who had been fighting for freedom for a long time. I accept that England are no longer the same way - but that does not excuse almost a thousand years of history.
