The only time I recall having mr. Pibb in Canada was actually in Edmonton odly enough.
It was in a box store located in, well West Edmonton mall. I forget the exact name of the store but I remember it being sort of close to the pool. It sold many candies/sodas/gum that is normally extremely hard or rare to find.
I have a strong feeling that they ordered Mr. Pibb on the internet or through the corporations to get it as a special order. It was surprisingly expensive for a soda.
I still haven't forgiven the asians for pearl harbor.

By that I mean it was a suspission that they ordered it specially meaning prices had to be raised for it.

Ah, Mr. Pibb. It's one of those sodas only some people like/know about. It's too bad I forget what it tastes like.

I've only heard of Mr. Pibb, never had it.
However, since it's similar to Dr. Pepper, like Vegeton, I wouldn't like it.
Ahhh, watching people play squash at the community centre while having sips of Dr. Pepper.
Memories.

:D
I bought this can when Fyndir was visiting in July. We went to a candy store, and it hadn't been touched by Canadian rebottlers.
Of course, we had to have the rebottled stuff because the Celtic store close to my house only had the rebottled IrnBru in glass bottles for about $1.39 each.
And the large 2L untouched bottles for about $12.00.
Yes, I still have the can. I still have the mango juice in a can. I still have Bawls from high school. I have a problem.

And what's worse, the pop that they do have is different. The Barq's Rootbeer in Canada isn't made in the US, so the taste isn't the same, and there are different levels of caffeine and so forth.
Yay, Obama won. Let's thank his supporters:
-The compliant mainstream media for their pro-Obama propaganda.
-Black Panthers for their intimidation of voters.

Rebottling plants in Canada monitor the caffeine levels, so they reduce it before they rebottle it.
They have to do that for drinks being imported into Canada from Europe.

Well, whatever they do it sucks, it makes it taste different. Basically the only pop I drink is Barqs so when I go to Canada I freak out a little bit.
Also, something else to complain about while we're on the subject is alcohol in Canada. It is way too expensive due to taxes, most stuff costs twice as much or more as it does in the US, even after currency conversion. You can get a 24 pack of Budweiser in the US for about $16 US, in Canada it is almost $45 CAD so about $40 USD.
And even then, it tastes different, and despite what Canadians say, no Canadian beer is not better and it doesn't have more alcohol by volume either.

In BC, where you say you visit Vancouver every now and then, liquor stores are owned by the government so they can regulate it. Hence, the government jacks up the price to whatever they see fit. As far as I know, I've only been in a liquor store once or twice in Canada.
And even then, it tastes different, and despite what Canadians say, no Canadian beer is not better and it doesn't have more alcohol by volume either.
I'm no fan of Molson (even though I live relatively close to the brewery). I'm a Guinness and Scottish beer woman.
Yeah.
Anyways, further conversation on Canadian alcohol can be left to PMs, as this topic is about Mr. Pibb, that elusive American pop.

No it's really not though, traffic sucks, too many mean Russians that hate everyone but Russians. But anyway, I guess Sprite Remix really did get discontinued. So It must have just been my imagination.

I never did like that shit for some reason. We used to sell it at the gas station I work at (still), but it just never sold well. I gave it a chance, unlike some other pops, though.

I can tell you one thing, there is no Mr. Pibb in Japan!
Bunch of savages in this country!
I don't really drink sodas too much anymore, but I haven't noticed it out here. The only American sodas that I have seen here are coke, pepsi, sprite and fanta (although, I don't really think that fanta is all that American). They have diet coke, but it is kind of hard to find. There is also some type of diet pepsi here, but they call it pepsi light... weirdos!
One drink I have seen a lot out here is CC Lemon. It's just basically like minute maid lemon drink. It's really the only thing that I can stand from the vending machine at my hotel.
I drank the coke out here, it tastes just like it does in the states, but it comes in a 12oz. aluminum bottle!
Them dudes be looking at they mom's turkey on Thanksgiving like 'The fuck is this bullshit?'

That kind of reminds me of the Little Caesar's chain. They always had a little Caesar-esque guy at the end with pizzas on his spear that said "Pizza Pizza!"
Ah, but if what my theory is true (no pizza pizza commercials on american tv stations) YOU HAVE NO PIZZA PIZZA!
I met the guy who own Little Caesar's (and, as I found out recently, the Detroit Red Wings). Nice guy, but you kind of wish he would give you a bunch of free Red Wings tickets and pizzas.
With that said, Mr. Pibb is awesome! It is at many of the McDonalds and other fast-food places/cheap restaurants where I live in the middle of California; I love to get it when I get a sandwich at this one place by my apartment every week or two.

That's why there's no Mr. Pibb, that's why.

I told them both that it did. Then they both told me that they don't sell Mr. Pibb up in Canada.
I've never had Mr. Pibb before but to assume that they made it up for the sake of the song is just... well... not extrapolating data.
Truly an awesome song - I couldn't wait to watch the Chronicles of Narnia after that and I also looked up Andy Samberg and his Lonely Island stuff. Hilarious.
