Guitar > Piano.
Guitar is the greatest music instrument, imo.
The keyboard is much more complete than guitar... just by the range of notes you can play.
meanwhile the guitar has a lot of different ways to play... so ppl just decide what they wanna play and i chose piano...
why does it has to be like "NO I ARE BETTER THAN YOU!" "NO YOU IS GAY!"?

I say piano because piano has a wider range of notes and after someone's been learning it for a while, becomes the most difficult instrument to play. It also requires the player to be highly educated in musical theory.
have you ever put a piano and guitar playing at the same time it sounds great.
A keyboard can sound like a guitar but it can never truely sound like a piano, when i start using foot pedals what do you do???
piano > keyboard
They both have their advantages. But a guitar can articulate it selves in ways 1000 more subtle then a keyboard or piano can and asuch can put a lot of soul in music. I love every instrument, hell I played a banjo once!
I definately say the piano.
You see so many people and bands use guitars, which is fine, but I think it's something special to see someone play piano well. :D
Forget about the differences in piano and guitar as instruments, because they go really well together when they're both used in a song.
Yes, there are synthesizers (which are really cool), and they're based off the keys of the piano. But guitar synths can also be bought, which can drastically alter the sound of the guitar. So tell your friend, studio-nightbird, that a guitar CAN sound like a piano with the right gear.
Btw, keytars win.
Fuck you. The bagpipes are AWESOME. People play 'Taps' with it at funerals for a reason.
I say Piano > Guitar, even though pianos can't bend pitches quite like guitar, if you use a keyboard or a synthesizer, problem solved.
I think piano is the easiest instrument to play. I'm a classically trained pianist, and I think the mechanics are just a lot more intuitive and common sense than guitar
too kawaii to live, too sugoi to die
Well personally I like the guitar more but I also like the piano
The guitar is great for rock bands but when you want to make an emotional or epic song the piano is the way to go.
all hail the all mighty guitar. guitars are far superior than pianos
ATTENTION: USER HAS VERY BAD TEMPER AND HAS BEEN KNOWN TO KICK PEOPLE IN THE FACE FROM TIME TO TIME!!!!
guitar...quite frankly you need to be something special to be good i mean think there are millions of guitarist's out there, you have to be skilled to be good
Everyone and their mom plays guitar, why do you think every band made from people in middle/high school is a metal band? They think guitar's cool, and metal music is the easiest to play cause you can turn up the volume really loud so it doesn't matter how badly you play it's still going to rape your ears.
Guitar done right can be good, same with piano. There's just less ear rapage on a badly played piano than on a badly played guitar.
Anyway I play piano, it's much more versatile for creating music for games, and I like jazz music a lot.
I also play the tuba. Fun stuff but not too useful.
