Gayness, I know for sure, will be present. And it will be stronger in the future.
But not in the way that you imagine it.

He's trying to lure us into a false sense of security.

Next thing you know, there's going to be gay Looney Tunes.

It's all his master plan.

Gay people are born that way for the most part, so i dont really see a problem in them having a role model or a cartoon that they can relate to.

+1 proper use of sarcasm

But why should this be a major issue? Transforms was never really about heterosexuality, so why should it be about homosexuality? The main point is that if love is a topic in kids' shows, if heterosexual love is allowed than it would be messed up not to allow homosexual love. It's not really a problem if a character has a gay boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband or whatever. But relationships usually aren't the subject of kids' cartoons, so go figure.

I don't know bout him, but I learned all I will ever need to learn about homosexuality from listening Rush Limbaugh.

And seeing as how that makes me a certified expert on the matter, I can say that every scientist who has ever said homosexuality is not a choice is %100 percent wrong. Trust me, I read the wikipedia article on homosexuality, that makes me just as qualified as any other scientist.

Well the gay people i know have endured much persecution, and homosexuals argueably have to endure the most hate and defamation. So why would any one CHOOSE to live a life like that?

Ugly people face more persecution than gays, people are just more subtle about it. How can they live without getting plastic surgery?

People live because life is good, no matter how many cocks you've sucked or carpets you've munched. Sex feels good, even gay sex.

Haven't you ever stopped and thought about that, or am I really giving you info you've never heard?

Cartoons telling kids things are no different than theatre works portraying complex scenarios.

Do you think Garfield should've fucked Odie in the ass at least once in all his years of lasagna-munching?

Why not?

This atrocity must be prevented.

No, it should be recognized for what it is, sexualizing kids.

You guys don't get it.

I don't want to stop it from happening. I don't care.
And I am not saying they will go out of their way to make their characters gay and horny.

I'm just picturing what our old cartoons would have looked like if being gay was so normal we wouldn't think twice about it.

You guys are so not ready for my revamped Wonder Twins.

Homosexuality won't go any farther than heterosexuality in cartoons. You don't see people having straight sex in cartoons, you won't see people having gay sex either. It'll be like heterosexuality in kids cartoons, some character kisses someone on the cheek and they ger all embarrassed and blush. That doesn't really equate to gay sex.

Why is it that whenever anybody thinks of homosexuality, they think "gay sex" and "rape"? Gay relationships in cartoons would be the same as the current strait relationships. There would be no sex scenes, nobody making out, and nobody undressing. You'd have to be extremely closed minded to think that there would be anything like that.

I mean, do you ever see an intemit strait couple in these shows? There's never more than a sexy glance or a friendly kiss on the cheek. Do you people really think that there'd be anything more with gay couples?

How can you look at a certain type of person, without seeing them actively engage in homosexual activities, and insinuate they fornicate with members of the same sex?

Isn't that like, wrong on some level?

What I mean is, they are cartoons, intended for children (not Adult Swim).

If a gay cartoon is something you want to create, go right ahead. I'd rather engage my child in something a little less mature until they're ready for sexual exploration though.

I don't know, maybe if someone were to kiss or go out on a date with a member of the same sex? By that logic, kids have to see hardcore sex between a man and a woman before they know whether or not it's the usual thing for members of the opposite sex to like each other.

Well for instance, if Link, in the old Zelda cartoon, constantly begged MAN-Zelda for kisses instead of girl Zelda.
That'd be so gay.

On like, at LEAST two levels. The first for appealing to the fat kid who got his tongue pierced at 15, the second for not recognizing the OBVIOUS attraction between Ganon and Link. It was bad enough they androgenized Zelda/Sheikh in OoT BUT THEY DIDN'T BUTTSSECKS.

I wouldn't mind suggesting Link was confused/curious at some point, as long as he keeps coming back to the well.
