THEN THOSE CUNTS GO AND BREAK UP!
And to meet up with you of course :3
Awww, <3.
This isn't really relevant to industrial, but have you guys heard of the band Liars? They're just like... experimental/noise punk. And they're good. plus they've got
this demo, which has a pretty clever cover.
Hahaha, I like the look of that and I'm muchly into noise.
I shall check.

Yeah, it's the Strategies Against Architecture cover.
I shall check.
You should. I've got one album so far, gonna look into one of the other three.

Let's have some fun! Allmusic guide calls Der Mussolini (The Mussolini) by DAF "The ultimate Industrial song" Linkydink
The song, if you haven't heard it.
Now, I want YOU to tell us what you think the ultimate Industrial song is and why?
My vote goes to this.
True, it is poppier than the original stuff, but Throbbing Gristle had pop excursions too and the song IS concept driven, despite the dark humor (again, TG have that too).
I also find the idea of an industrial band poking fun of school shootings (considering the popularity of Industrial Rock bands amoung the people who DO shoot up schools) to be really amusing aswell.
It's catchy too.

It's hilarious - Cabaret Voltaire formed to kill time. Also, Foetus namechecks that song in another song, but I don't want to ruin the surprise by telling wich one.

I've said that before, completely missing The Fall and Z'Ev and the like because they aren't well advertised...

Closer is the pinnacle of Reznor's achievements. It's a true masterpiece and my life would be empty without it.

it just came off like some generic dj set. after seeing guys like Diplo, Pendulum and Deadmau5 blow the lid off the fucking place he was underwhelming in comparision. the dancing animals were cool though.

Hm, listened to it. It was decent at best. Definately not another downward spiral. Like a combo of with teeth and year zero. Not necessarily disappointed, but some songs don't sound industrial at all, not even industrial rock, more like just a regular alt rock band.
Head Down and Demon Seed are very good tracks though.

Yes, but it's not just CDs, other ats and merchandise is nice.Rare stuff is neato though. Our musicians transcend music and become artifacts, like the cross of JKesus,.
I shot TomFulp a PM asking if he likes old school Industrial, because he likes NIN and I'm sure we'll all jizz ourselves if we find out that he spins TG records.
