i don't doubt that there is still anti-japanese sentiment out there. even some Americans hate the Japanese. and there's nothing really wrong with that. it's absolutely understandable. all i am saying is that kind of mentality is on the decline. it just so happens that the man in power happened to be alive when they occupied his country. and now they have to follow suit.

I can understand that the US doesn't want another Asian war, but they may be forced to fight, not just in a NK conflict. If you recall the leaked US document that included the instances that America would use nuclear weapons, China invading Taiwan was one of them. It is unlikely that situation will arise, but nevertheless it is possible. The Chinese stated that they will do everything in their power to stop Taiwan being independent, using military force as a last resort.

for every plan there is a contingency plan. and for ever contingency plan there is another contingency plan. and so on and so forth. just because the Chinese have some silly documents about our response to a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, oh well. and i'm also sure that the use of nuclear weapons is a last resort.

Why do people think that just because NK has a less hi-tech army than the US they'll be easy to beat?

Alright, if there was a war, with NK aggression being the catalyst, who do you think would fight them?

the US will. that is, however, if NK were to attack without provacation. and that scenario is the next thing to unlikely.

Also, don't forget there are other methods of delivering nuclear bombs than just missiles. They might a suitcase bomb, simlilar to what the Soviets built.
