Everything about TaTu is a publicity stunt. I'd be surpruised is this particular stunt was anything more than a press release or whatever.

I agree. It does show that their manager knows how to play to a mind-less mob of listeners. He gets two good-looking girls, whom are probably very comfortable with what they are doing, and turns them both into his attention-getters.

However, I don't think society has degraded that much to allow them to stay around. What I mean is, that I think this band will burn out their popularity because no one can survive on cheap tricks forever. Tatu hasn't been around long enough to establish a strong fan base, before hitting the croud hard with sexual stunts. If you recall, Britney Spears kept her moves subtle until she started recording her second album (Ie: Boob jobs, Millionairs wanting to pay her for sex and her pulling off her cloths on stage.)

They have to spread out the 'shock value' to sell their albums.

Most people rather download their songs from the big wonderfull internet,an buying their albums. Buying THEIR albums is a money lost. I prefer buying Rammstein albums an a Tatu one.
