everybody knows tracing isn`t art, it`s fun, i`ll grant you that..but it does not require any particular skills or ability or anything for that matter, a 2 year old could do it.

long post, anyway, i only trace detailed pics that take a while anyway, but i agree, if it doesnt take a while its not fun, and i spend alot of time on the color aswell, so mine may be classed as art, people say that i color well.

the nose and the teeth are traced with lines, use the brush tool.Also, use the smudge tool to blend the color together.

he doesnt look too much like 50 cent, and the teeth look wierd, id just say to spend more time on it.

ok ive done a mercedes clk gtr, here it is, i still need to do wheels, decals, vinyl, color etc. so it wont be done for a while

i made this a couple of weeks ago, not a gun or a car, but i think i did pretty good...

line tool for outlines, brush+blur for shadows. all flash 8.

(its a tonberry, all you non FF players)

well... the tracing most of us are doin is close to stealing, but it's good practice.
also, one needs tracing to import from real life drawings into our favorite digital media. (ya kno, draw, scan, trace, shade?) it's the long way for us who don't have a tablet to draw with.

(least we're not using <trace bitmap>)
