Some people are just quick to criticise- if a lame joke means the redesign comes out a little bit sooner then I don't think anyone will care.

What's really sad is that I redesigned the header to look like a generic web 2.0 header, but people actually liked it more than the regular header, so now we need to debate black buttons amongst ourselves. I guess there's a reason why the web 2.0 trends exist.

The header was nothing special, but the black buttons looked pretty cool. That may have been simply because it was new though, and I like the orange just as much- it's far more Newgrounds.

I can't fucking stand Web 2.0, it's a horrible trend. All the good websites are downgrading their layouts, and making them laggy and hard to navigate. It pisses me off. Keep the orange buttons, at least it's original.

Well despite it was a joke (a very lame on at that) i thought the black buttons, were rather nice.

I did like the black bar. It made the site look more badass in my opinion. Also, cant wait to go over the history of the portal after this and relive some good flash.

The orange version is more personal. I'd keep it.

oh no tom dont even think about debating it, black buttons were not NGesque and like you said , generic, no one would like to see Ng as one of the bunck, another flash website, because it isnt... so pleeeeease stick with the yellow nuttons and NO reflection under the tank or under the name.

yes thats true it seems that some people do like the current style I also think its kind of neat because the reflection just takes off originality

It was a lame joke, I was really hopeing it was for real, but yesterday when i saw that all you did was color the nav bar black I was thinking "WTF!?". When will the real layout be done?

Also, it's nice to see you FINALLY got around to finishing FPH: 2006. I noticed a few typos in the descriptions, though.
