I personally can't agree with him on any of the issues. It isn't that i dislike him it's just I dislike what he stands for.I mean, afterall, anyone who can blatantly state that they dislike the American troops will never recieve my vote.

You've probably got Obama confused with Burt Bacharach.
Ah yes, you are right...I get the two confused.

Obama ain't a bad choice for presidency, but I'm not so sure he can beat Rudy Giuliani, considering what Giuliani has done for new york.
Personally I hope the '08 election is between Obama and Giuliani. it will be a very good race between 2 very qualified individuals. of course I hope Giuliani wins myself, mainly because of his accomplishments thus far.
look on the bright side, it beats the bush/kerry race.... ugh. ketchup vs oil... or AWOL vs purple hearts for self inflicted injuries....
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

Barack Obama is all media hype and has no real chance at winning.
Rudy Guilliani has no chance of winning because of his liberal social views.
My guess is that it will come down to McCain vs. Clinton

somehow when ever I think of the name Barak Obama. I keep on thinking of Baraka (a villian from Mortal Combat). My mind automatically goes to Baraka, when I read Barak. He would be pretty young like Kennedy, if he was elected. I bet Colin Powell would be thrilled that Barak was elected as fhe first Black President.

His name will prevent him from even having a chance. I don't think Hillary has a chance either.

I think it's more realistic to imagine him wearing a cross around his neck, since he's Catholic. Not Muslim as the political hacks tried to paint him as.

to me he seems like he wantsd to help out the people of america, and not just the people of wealth and power of america.
what obama's message to me is that he wants america to be of the people, for the people, and by people, like it should be. right now its of the businesses, for the wealthy, by the courupt. the ones in power dont care what normal americans say. if they cant fill the government's pockets with money then their words mean nothing. we might as well be living in a facisim.
our country needs a leader who will cause a change. someone who is there not for themselves but for us. someone who wants to make a difference. he wants to listen to the people, the real people. the ones who have next to nothing, the ones who are facing the problems of america.
the president is a leader of the free world, one who represents who we are as well as helping to better america. bush didnt give a shit about america one bit. and the whole political system is at civil war with itself. if this keeps up america will fall. america's philosophy is the greatest of the world, but the america of today is in ruins. we need someone who wants to step up, but not to become famous, not to become pwerful just to fill their ego, not to do something for only themselves, but to be in office so that they can restor the glory of america.
polotics only care what is the more profitable choice. obama seems like someone who put what is right over what is profitable.
he wants to end the hmo and start a universal health care system. this would cost losts of money and loose alot of busines support. but it would benifit the people more since it costs way too much for insurance and many times the insurance companies screw with you making you pay their part. with a universal health care system, the health insurance agencies will be gone.
with education, he says that it isnt just the teachers that need to help the students, its also all of us that need to help them. he doesnt put the blame on anyone, he says that it is the job of everyone, the parents, the polotics, and the teachers to help the students.
he also want to pull out of iraq, as do many americans. its a pointless war that was fulled by us. wew kept giving the middle east guns. this isnt a war of freedom, its a war of profit. the arms dealers are
the only one's wining this war, besides the iraqies.
to me it wont matter if we pull out now or later, it will end up the same way, chaotic. ever since we took away the religious leaders way back, the whole middle east has become unstable. why are we there if we cant win?
he wants to restore america from the bottom up. he want to fix america and set it right.
we have been long over due for a president like obama.
