Can anyone reccomend a good java development environment for windows. The last thing I used was BlueJ but thats real entry level stuff.
I need a more advanced editor/compiler
Any suggestions.

Eclipse is the way to go. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it you will really like it. The Eclipse IDE is used in industry.

I've always wondered which is better, netbeans or eclipse? I've used netbeans for a few months, should i possibly change???
