Come to think of it, wasn' Rumsfeld getting rather chummy with Gerry Adams on his recent UK visit? You know, the political figurehead of the IRA, who also currently has a seat in Whitehall, although reports that Blair thought he was a member of that other IRA have so far been buried under a lot of fronting gloss.
