Whats up with those new people on Newgrounds?
I would think someone who was able to sign up for a NG gold account would be able to type in and use http://www.google.com ?

"Where can I find sprites for...?"
"Where can I find music from the game...?"
or my favorite:
"What do i need to make Macromedia Flash movies?"

I really like to help people in the BBS or via Chat/Netmeeting to learn stuff you can do with flash or how to build a own site...
But people who are too dumb to use google should not even bother.
I dont even mean that they should use search terms like "OR" "AND" "-" and "", which really help to find stuff on google.
But some people cant even type in
"flash"
The first thing that pops up id macromedia's website!
Cheese! People!
I guess its because they do not type in
"macromedia Flash download"
but
"macromeda falsh donlwoad"
probably everything in CAPS too.
How do such people pass school tests?
Will those people work in nuclear plants or even become president one day?
Well, I am from germany and I have many typos as well, but some people do not even seem to be capable of speaking english.

Maybee there is a big brain surgery hospital somewhere, and they have internet-stations in the cafeteria, and Newgrounds seems to be the default home page.

There should be a simple test before people are able to post on the bbs-
Questions like
-who is the president
-12 x 2.5 : 44.3 x (-8+12-4) = ?
-if your brother is also your dad, what state do you live in?

...of course there would only be half as much people on NG then, and that would be not good for the sponsors. Well, at least the bandwidth would not be cocked up all the time ;-)

Anyway, sure respect is the key.
But a brain would be usefull too.

I was pissed how i was treated at level 1 myself, but thats something different. Thats prejustice.

For me a "n00b" can be someone with level 10 or 20- some people might vote every day for years, but their brains are the size of a small pea.

Its one thing to -not know- something, but its a other thing if you tell them but they are to stupid to understand it. Sometimes I wonder how those people are able to stand and even walk.

I agree to an extent. Although, you, me and everyone else for that matter had to start from scratch at some point. Just like these guys are doing now. If the annoyance of these questions is too high, you should consider the fact that you're not obligated to tutor anyone.
