thats for the comments guys..and yea i feel Dev-art is just too big....i like the smaller communities better...i mean n e 1 can make themselves known here quite easily

Dude, your art is awesome and I'd like to ask you a question :
In average, how long do you spend on your pictures??

as skill progresses and range of things that i draw increase time has gotten longer.

example : at the start of the thread are all my old pics of stupid faces and that....they took about 30-45 mins.....gollum took my about 2 hours...landscapes....45 mins......the longest i spent on a pic was the illidan one....3 sittings 1st about 3 hours 2nd 4 hours last 1-2 hours

lol if u love what ur doing....patients dont come into it...u get into a state of mind that the only thing that exists is u and the picture.....once u reached that state then hours and hours can fly by

also i understand that when sum ppl draw they give up, and they say they dont have the patients...i was the same way..i would spend about 1 hour drawing and get frustrated because it still looked like a piece of crap....but once u get past that barrier (and n e body can) u start developing new skills and tricks and a better eye from colour, until in the end ur excited about what ur gonna draw next because u have enuf artistic ability to make a decent drawing...the real treat is when u draw something and surprise urself because it passes all expectations u have

you have SERIOUS skills, if i could do that stuff i would be so happy.

Yeah, LaserKarl gives off a more "painty" feel to his work. And Razac's art looks like awesome graphics from a ps3 or something.

BTW Razac, that first landscape and the gollum are insanely good. They're my favorites so far. And that eye was tastey too, I love how you drew the pores.

Razac, I've always loved what you've done, but what program did you use again to make the Illidan. I remember seeing the WIP (Work in Progress) and you were good at it. You should make tutorials. Good job though.

Lol it's so weird because I was browsing over your stuff for the 1000dth time and I was whishing that you would post some more art and, apparently, you heard me or whatever and you juts posted a picture!!About the picture, it is pretty good but the lips look pretty weird, keep working and show more of your progress!!

Neck looks broken.

Head seems...unproportional.

its not easy by all means....you have to reeeeaally want it

you have to commit yourself. When you feel yourself giving up, slap yourself around the face and carry on

its like physical training....just gotta keep pushing to see results

It looks like he's trying to see something that's on or right in front of his forehead/eyebrows. I probably look something like that when trying to see a stray hair hanging from my bangs, though I don't screwup my lip like that.

next time ill use a reference..at least ill get practice drawing ppl that look correct :P
