the fingers in the hand supporting her elbow seem unjointed and terribly long. Also; it seems way too loose, not like its supporting something; more like its leaning on something.

I guess I should have used a photo reference for the hand holding the elbow. This is the first drawing/painting I've done in a year, Ive forgot the basics lol

It kinda is creepy and disturbing, but the detail is fucking unbelievable, just stunning.
Besides, most people only like "furries" in the portal if they're naked.

Stupid fucking 13 year old pervert shitheads.

Been a while....

Anyways heres a small crop WIP of my girlfriends giant birthday picture (she really into black foxes and wolves) gonna see if i can print it a3 or bigger then frame it.

Its slightly different to my usual style, but she really likes brown paper sketchy type pics, and to be honest it actually feels nice to just let go and do a sketchy pic for once.

Razac! Yes. Yes it has.

Looking great, as usual. I'm sure she'll love it.
Everything but the eye looks like it's done traditionally, but you said you wanted to print it, so is it all digital using the burlap type background and textured brushes?

Response to Razac's art thread 2011-03-12 19:36:58

yea its all digital, made like a coffee stained background with the canvas type texture overlay, and used the pencil textured brush to sketch it out, but then like I always do I get an errection over detail so I traded the pencil brush for a smooth brush and went to town on the tiny hairs, should look like its done using pencils once its all printed, i mean you lose some of the finer pencil textures when its this small but once its printed full size it should look quite nice.

Hey people, as you can see from the previous post its been a while...I pretty much gave up drawing for a good 5 years promising myself I'll start up again but it never happened. I've been in a slump for a while trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my love of drawing, how I can make a living from it, but as the months and years went on I became more and more discouraged and lost my passion and motivation, thinking I was so out of the loop, that everyone was making it but me.

For a while I was sure i was suffering from some kind of depressive episode thinking it was too late for me to make it as an artist, but its time to wake the hell up, make a decision and stick to it. So i picked tattoos, bought the equipment, started practicing and started drawing again.

Sorry for the depressing block of text.

Here's my first painting in what seems like forever.

No, sadly. It's a bit of a different beast since the community cycled out, as nobody has the momentum to keep those things up and running. It's all seems pretty solo nowadays.
